Gorgeous pair of purples in for various bits and bobs. One for a service, new alternator and new exhaust manifold. The second for a major oil leak found and repaired along with some other bits I found along the way. Also please stop using these MTC Intercoolers! There useless always cause boost leaks and do a worse job than OEM.

So another Checkmate to sail through the workshop. Sadly this one had been messed around with by someone not so knowledgable. After having a timing chain done only 6 months ago and all the rails being broken up already. I also found that the two 10m bolts for the timing chain rails were being used to hold the cylinder head down and the 13m bolts were being used for the rails. It seems they also had a thing for using silicone it was used everywhere and in huge quantity’s. I also found lots of silicone sealer in the oil pickup. So another new chain kit and a big clean up process later she’s back and happy with the new owner.

Little update from the workshop with some recent work. With hopes of giving some more regular updates of stuff going on in the workshop. Recent customer in for a major overhaul with new timing chain, supercharger service, new clutch with all new oil seals and gaskets throughout. Feel free to inquire on prices for your Minis.

Also stay tuned to see the new workshop overhaul with new ramps, compressor, tyre machine and lots of other garage equipment.

Another awesome weekend racing with both Total53 cars at 1st and 2nd bringing home more awesome trophy’s! Both cars really dialling in nicely now. With the last race in November it’s a fight for points in the championship and some new tyres needed before hand.

I still have your exhaust manifold for your BRG, which I shall hang on my workshop wall in respect. Also to remember all the good times had, the help and advice you gave me. You will be missed by many.

What an awesome weekend at Lydden Hill Race Circuit with some good friends. Massive well done to Terry Pithers who got his first trophy and first podium finish after an almost full rebuild on the car. Also massive shoutout to Bill Barlow for getting the car geometry setup in record time. Looks like we have got the car properly dialled in now. So to more trophy’s and podium finish’s also feel free to tune in to Total53 Motorsport to follow future racing also our page for future builds, there is a Total53 car joining the action.
