I have another request from Tracy Marshall.

Hi, I'm hoping to trace the Carpenter family who lived at Seven Gables in Chandlers Ford circa 1934. I'm with a group called The Forgotten Messages Project on Facebook and our aim is to reuinte old postcards with a family member. The postcard we have is 1934 and addressed to Miss C Carpenter, Seven Gables.

William Henry Carpenter and Sarah Anne had a daughter Christine born in 1907 at Chandlers Ford. (found on FindMyPast)

William H Carpenter, born 1873, a retired laundry proprietor, and wife Sarah A born 1867, at Seven Gables in 1939.

Hello
I am hoping to find the location of the shop my grandparents had in Chandlers Ford, between maybe 1926 and 1950.
May have been called L C Wilton's Store.
Len (L C) and May Wilton and their family ( Ron, Eileen and Norman) ran the shop and lived above it. Would be pleased to know where it was, the street and number, and if it can still be found. Thank you

“Hi, I am trying to trace the location of a house that was bought in 1940 by Alex Henshaw (spitfire test pilot) and his wife Barbara.The name of the house was, 'TEMBANI' and was located in Chandlers Ford but this is the only information I have. I am acting on behalf of the Spitfires Makers charitable trust.”

Hello, I'm trying to trace addresses that my great grandfather may have lived at and I've come across one that sounds plausible but probably not there anymore. Do you know if there was a house called Broomfield Villas, Hursley Road, Chandlers Ford? I used to live in Lakewood Road so it's quite something to discover my great grandfather may have lived there too. Many thanks. Tessa Burbridge

I have had a message from Chloe Unwin. Wonder if anyone can help out? "Hi everyone my name is Chloe I currently live in 108 Wi******er road which was known before as fern hill cottage . Does anyone know the history of this house about a little girl that may of possibly died ? Reason why I ask is because I have seen strangest things happen in my house and I’ve seen this little girl several times and have photos to prove it . I would be grateful if anyone knows any history about my house . Thanks."
