As Christmas approaches, colleagues across Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich have donated hundreds of items to charities that support the local community. Huge thanks go to all our colleagues who generously supported these appeals, which meant that members of our senior leadership team were able to deliver a fantastic 10 car-loads of items to three local charities this morning:

• Non-perishable food & toiletries for the Kingfisher Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust network
• Pre-loved clothing, in support of a campaign across Jaguar Land Rover's sites in Birmingham for homeless charity SIFA Fireside
• Children’s toys, in support of Birmingham City Mission’s ToyLink appeal

This Armistice Day, artwork by the children of Jaguar Land Rover employees is lighting up Castle Bromwich. Children of all ages drew pictures of Poppies to commemorate Remembrance and they're all on display on our big screen over-looking Chester Road.

The passing of Her Majesty the Queen has left everybody at Jaguar Land Rover deeply saddened, and our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family at this time.

Our relationship with The Queen has been a source of great pride for all of us at Jaguar Land Rover.

As the UK’s longest reigning monarch, Head of the Commonwealth, Patron of more than 600 charities as well as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, The Queen was a remarkable role model.

Most recently, it was a great honour for us to play a role in Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, marking her historic and extraordinary reign.

This was just one of many memories we are truly grateful for as part of our long-standing and continued connection with the Royal Family, and we shall deeply miss Her Majesty's pioneering leadership and strength that provided this country with continuity, stability, and inspiration through decades of enormous social change.

For Jaguar Land Rover Sustainability Day and part of Tata Sustainability Month, we've challenged our teams to take part in ⚡️The Big Switch Off⚡️

This initiative will see each area of the plant power down non-essential equipment as quickly as possible at the end of their shifts, to reduce carbon emissions, energy and costs.

The Big Switch Off is just one of the ways we're working on sustainability and our goal of becoming a net zero carbon business by 2039.
