Tom’s FN2 Mugen 200 was in for its annual service and MOT.
Tom also supplied us a nearly new Piper cat back system to fit.
Easy fit….. until you see the non existent nuts on the cat to exhaust fl**ge 🙈😂

FN2 was in for the dreaded rear beam corrosion.
The car failed MOT at another garage….. (we didn’t think it was bad enough to fail) maybe the tester was having a bad day. 😅
Anyway new rear beam supplied, all components swapped over and re-fitted.
The car was also in for a front end judder while on full lock.
This turned out to be the front calipers that were seizing up and grabbing.
New front calipers and pads supplied and fitted.
Oil service also carried out.

Ant’s supercharged FN2 was recovered to us after rough idle and cutting out.
Quick diagnostic scan showed map sensor….. but didn’t flag again after cel cleared, car seemed to run ok after.
We didn’t think it was that simple, some old school mechanics involving a tapping stick and the map sensor 😅 caused the car to idle rough and cut out.
Live data also showed the map signal spiking while tapping the map sensor.
New map sensor fitted and all working as it should.
While it was in, we carried out an oil service and fitted new spark plugs.
We also replaced the rear pads, as they were very worn 🙈

Gethin had his DC5 in for a full solidfab exhaust system.
A power steering leak that we found was from the main input shaft seal on the rack.
We also checked a suspected rear wheel bearing, that needed both changing.

Nik’s EP3 was in for timing chain, tensioner and guides.
New oil and oil filter
New tensioner pulley bearing.
As always only genuine Honda parts used, and valve clearances reset back to factory with the new chain job.
No issues had flagged with the car, this was purely preventative, as the car had covered over 150k miles.

Dr Neil had his Civic in for its annual service and MOT.
Like most of the MK8 civics the side repeaters were not flashing very well. So a pair supplied and fitted.
New front wipers fitted.

Alex’s mighty H22 swapped Wagon, was back in for some upgrades.
New Yellow Speed Coilovers to replace the seized BC Racing ones.
Exedy Stage 1 clutch kit.

Local Civic owner was in for his annual service and MOT.
We also had to fix the low washer jet pressure.
We have seen a lot of washer pump issues recently.
We have put it down to so much rain over the past couple of months. Nobody needed to use the screen wash. So the pipes became blocked up with sludge.
Clean out of pipes and jets seem to fix them 👌
