We have known this E Type since 2006 when we sold it first to Mr Cooper and built this fast Road specification E-Type Jaguar in 2013 for its second owner until we sold to it's last owner of eight years who recently has had a brake overhaul with the calipers rebuilt new discs and full service and fitted a set of 4 x New D-Type wheels

Lanes Cars Signature fast Road spec finished in Gun Metal Green with a Red interior and black mohair Hood S1 E Type Roadster.

First manufactured in November 1955 by Jaguar Cars Coventry this XK140 Jaguar LHD
which still retains its original 3.4 - 6 cylinder Jaguar engine was registered in America to its
first owner Emanuel Fredlund, New York, in February 1956.

Having had only 2 owners in the last 55 years and purchased by its last owner of 27 years in
1996 and imported back to the UK from its former US owner of 28 years, who achieved concours winning success with his body off restoration XK140 at the North California America Jaguar Club events in 1994.

Over the past 27 years, the car has been garaged in central London and primarily used

This E Type had been off the road since 1994, when we collected from our client which wasn't running and we were asked to recommission.

Initial findings when the cylinder head was first removed, there was a damaged piston and inlet valves in its cylinder head, corroded water ways also evident in the cylinder head, along with hair line cracks, this was just the beginning of resolving many issues to finally complete its recommissioning and passing it's MOT today ready to be returned to it's owner tomorrow.
