MG has achieved the impressive accolade of winning three categories in the What Car? Electric Car
Awards 2026. The successful trio named best in their class were the MG4 EV Urban as Best Electric Small Car, the MG HS PHEV as Best Hybrid Family SUV, and the MGS9 PHEV as the Best Hybrid 7 seat SUV.
The team of experts from What Car? judged the latest hybrid, plug in hybrid and fully electric cars, across 15 categories and rated them using results of real world testing.
David Allison, Director of Product and Planning, MG Motor UK commented: “ 91% of our new car sales now having either Hybrid, Plug in Hybrid (PHEV) or fully electric (BEV).”
