There is no such thing as a five min job, I can safely say we've all said it and started them, and the then the can of worms open up. After 26 years since the TR was painted the paint started to lifting away from the front panel below the screen. the metal below was and is very good the mistake was I had used galvanized base prime which stopped the paint from holding onto it. This was not so much the issue but cracking the screen has turn into a nightmare. trying to source a like for like replacement, green tint with dark blue top strip not easy. Plenty of green tinted top though.

The first coffee morning went well, couldn't ask for more, weather was great, new faces and some old turned up plus and additional food van as well as the coffee cabin so plenty to choose from. Thanks to all that came. This will run now every last Thursday of every month till end of September.

A few have said that it's TR4 I hope this can clear things it's a US import original, where they had TR4a with soild axle. Its almost a cross between the two models. More or less TR4a trim and TR4 mechanics. Yes confusing I agree but I didn't want to miss lead with just saying TR4a. There is a few of these TR4a around, I hope this clear's up any confussion. Thanks

This one I did a while back now for sale. This is TR4a (not IRS), structurally excellent condition, having had a body off chassis restoration. The bodyshell having gone through acid dip process and totally resprayed. Originally LH drive but converted over to RH drive. Interior completely replaced, new carpets, seats foams and completely new trim. New Mohair roof and tonneau cover. I have a complete photographic history of restoration showing TR condition in both before and after, which I can forward to anyone that is genuinely interested
