Well, I can safely say it’s the end of this season for the TR6. It’s been yet another eventful year with it. Having covered many reliable miles over the years, the last 12 mths it’s been nothing but reliable. It all began this time last year, a trip to Spain where it snapped a driveshaft (featured further back on my FB ) A long saga with a five week wait for the TR being returned home. This year its annual European trip was Jersey Motor Festival and then a trip through France onto Lake Annecy. A memorable trip for being breath taking and ‘’what now’’ with the TR. On the trip at midpoint, I had to nurse a prop UJ failure. With the problem sorted upon our return home among a few other niggles (inlet/exhaust manifold gasket). TR was back up and running again but that was not to last for long. With the TR back on the rd the joy was short lived, Diff failure was the last straw. So it will now stay in the workshop until I decide which avenue to take, repair, replace, or fit an alternative Nissan upgrade. For now it can sit there till next year. I think its had a enough of my spare time spent on it. I think I need to return back to the very long awaited project, the Stag, which has sat for the past four years.
