Join Our Growing Family Garage Team!
We are a well-established, friendly family-run garage business looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our expanding team in this exciting new chapter.
With 8 technicians and 4 office staff, we pride ourselves on maintaining a strong, happy team where everyone feels valued – it’s at the heart of our ethos. We operate a busy Class 4 & 7 MOT centre, handle all types of service, repair, and diagnostic work across cars and light vehicles, and run a dedicated commercial garage next door specialising in heavy and light commercial vehicles.
We undertake all necessary maintenance, MOTs, and repairs to keep HGV and PSV vehicles safe, roadworthy, and compliant. Alongside our workshops, we also operate a successful van rental business, keeping things varied and interesting every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity as we prepare to open a brand new, large workshop early this summer. You’ll be joining us at a time of real growth and development.
What we offer:

• Hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm weekdays, with every other Saturday 8:00am – 2:00pm

SERVICE ADVISOR REQUIRED.

We are a growing family business with 2 garages carrying out HGV & PSV repairs at our Molash site and MOT’s & Vehicle repairs at our Badlesmere site.
We started trading in 2008 and have successfully grown a very busy business undertaking all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
We have a team of 8 skilled technicians and 3 office staff and are looking for another experienced & enthusiastic service advisor to help us with the busy work load and expand the business further.
Job Summary
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance or repairs. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the service department.
You will be required to work closely with the technicians and update customers on the progress of their vehicles and will need to organise parts for vehicles.
Ideally we are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in this sector.
The job is 8.00 until 5.00pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday From 8 until 2pm.
Duties
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service diary
- Liaise with the workshop to ensure timely completion of work
- Explain recommended services and repairs to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Process payments and manage invoices
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and repairs
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
-Work closely with technicians to ensure work is going smoothly.
- Ability to effectively upsell services or products to customers
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge

Badlesmere garage has easy access from Ashford Canterbury & Faversham.
We have 9 technicians who travel from Ashford, Folkestone, Dover, Whitstable & Faversham so we are quite central to these locations.

We are looking for someone with experience and confident in all aspects of vehicle repair & diagnostics.

Free training courses are available to all our technicians to keep us up to date with new developments in our industry and to enhance the skills we already have.

The opening times are from 8am to 5.30pm and we work every other Saturday from 8-2pm.

The workshop is a modern well equipped tidy workshop with great amenities for staff with an emphasis on staff well being.

We have up to date diagnostic capabilities and technical support to assist with what can sometimes be a challenging job.

Molash garage has easy access from Ashford & Canterbury which is where Three of my techs live, three live in Folkestone & one from Whitstable.

We are looking for someone with experience or semi skilled with an interest in advancing their skill level.

Someone who is confident in all aspects of vehicle repair & diagnostics, but we will also consider taking on an enthusiastic and keen individual with level 2 or 3 qualifications and help you develop your skills with us.

Free training courses are available to all our technicians to keep us up to date with new developments in our industry and to enhance the skills we already have.

We currently have a total of Eight technicians who work very well together as a team and we don’t have a high turnaround of staff which I believe with the good salary indicates happy & content staff.

The opening times are from 8am to 5.30pm and we work every other Saturday from 8-2pm.

The workshop is a modern well equipped tidy workshop with great amenities for staff with an emphasis on staff well being.
