I am a FULLY qualified Grade A Driving Standards Agency Appoved driving instructor (ADI) It is my aim to provide quality tuition and service to my pupils and to make it enjoyable learning to drive. I

am a very patient instructor and with over 38 years of experience I am keen to pass on my knowledge to enable my pupils to learn to drive and pass their test. My experience means I can adapt my tutoring to the needs of each individual and ensure they gain the skills necessary to pass the driving test to a good standard and gain some experience to prepare you for driving on your own once you have passed. Your main driving experience comes after passing and we can help to support you with the 'Pass Plus Course'. Your lessons will follow the DVSA syllabus and a weekly record will be kept so that you can see your progress. Lessons will include intermediate progress tests and full mock tests to assess your skills and give you a greater chance of passing first time. If you are a complete novice you will get a controls lesson so that you fully understand the controls and how to use them. The dual controls in the car will ensure your safety as you learn. I am registered to teach Pass Plus and registered with the Institute of Advanced Motorists to teach advanced driving and take their test. I also do motorway lessons and refresher lessons for those who may not have driven for a while or just need to brush up their driving skills. “ Canterbury International School of Motoring “
In October 2020 I had a message from a passed pupil who I had taught to drive in 1987. Joanne. She said that she had moved to Florida and was now teaching one of her daughters to drive the way I had taught her years ago. I’m pleased to say that her daughter Emma passed her test today.

Hello again from Florida! Quick update today, my older Daughter Emma passed her driving test today, shebpassed driving the Andy Wellard Way! Must say the Florida Driving test is a joke compared to the UK one. I was taught by the best, and she has those same skills! Thank you! Hope you are staying healthy.
