Another fantastic week at ATC Reman Department seeing several Porsche Rear Spoiler Ram set ups for some TLC from the team.

Porsche 996,997 are the most common offenders but stand easy as we will get you back on the road and raising the roof as they say, well raising the spoiler even.

The Porsche 996 rear spoiler automatically raises at 120 km/h (approximately 75 mph). It will automatically retract back down when your speed drops below 60 km/h (around 35 to 40 mph).

Key Spoiler Details:
Deployment (Up): 120 km/h
Retraction (Down): Under 60 km/h
Manual Override: You can also deploy the spoiler manually using the button located in the driver's side footwell or center dash (depending on the exact model and options), allowing you to raise it at lower speeds for show or added engine cooling.

If you are noticing that your spoiler isn't deploying at these speeds, or if it is stuck, it is a known issue (especially on 996 Turbo models) where the hydraulic rams leak fluid due to internal spring and furniture failure having brass rams and a piston set up internally.

Today we have had the pleasure of testing an ecu unit from a Venturi vehicle which most people won't even know exist.

Venturi never produced 700 cars of a single specific model. Instead, that figure represents the total global production of all Venturi road cars built between 1984 and the company's bankruptcy in 2000, its cumulative lifetime production of all models—including various versions of the MVS Venturi, the 400 GT, and the Atlantique—was roughly 650 to 700 units in total.

The company was based in Monaco.
The ecu is based around a Renault Alpine V6 Bendix Renix Fenix 3B type system and fits the 3.0ltr Turbo model.

Customers claimed fault was no output from injectors 4,5 and 6 cylinders which we can test for on our classic test station. The ecu passed all tests successfully and was shipped back to customer for further investigation on the said vehicle.

Here we have the ecu that our customer sent in, the test rig it was happily running on and some fine examples of various models that were part of the 650 to 700 built vehicles.
