Well, it seems to have taken an age, but, finally the day has arrived!
New owner, Danny, will be opening the doors ( & pumps) at around midday today. I'll be calling in to give him my support and would love to see you all there for a chat and to introduce you to Danny.

Morning all.
Well, the time has come to announce my (semi) retirement. There will be some big changes here at Tower Garage which means closing the fuel side down for 2 or 3 months. I'll be back here for the Grand Re-opening to introduce you to Danny who will be taking over.

I've absolutely loved working here for the last 40 years, 30 of them side by side with my dad, Ed Snr. who I can't thank enough for giving me the chance to work in an industry I've loved since I was a kid.

I'd like to also thank every one of you who have remained loyal to us over the years, I'll miss you all.

It's a very tough but also very rewarding job and on mornings like this it's getting tougher! So, it's been a very hard decision to make & one I've not taken lightly, but, I think the time is right to take a step back and let some one else take the reins.

It will be my last day on Friday 29th November. I hope to see some of you before I go.

Once again, thank you all for your loyalty over the years.

A very merry Christmas to all our wonderful customers, new and old. I'd like to thank each and every one of you for supporting us in trying to drive down the price of fuel. I like to think that together we have gone some way in achieving this and we will continue this into the new year. We will be open tomorrow morning for a couple of hours but then we will be closed until Thursday 29th December.
Thank you all for your custom for the last 12 months, have a great Christmas and a happy New Year!!
