YES, WE’RE IN 🙌

£2 SINGLE FARES NOW LIVE IN STRATHCLYDE AREA.

From Monday 07 September, adult and child single fares of £2 or more on our bus services in the SPT area will be capped at £2.

And the best bit? There’s nothing you need to do. Our ticket machines will automatically work out the correct fare for your journey.

Services 15 and 17 are among the main West Coast Motors services covered.

The cap also applies to services we operate on behalf of Scottish Citylink and Stagecoach, including the X19.

Travelling with Scottish Citylink?
Journeys within the SPT or Hitrans areas will show a £2 fare. If your journey crosses both areas, the fare will be £4.

The £2 fare cap is part of an interim Scottish Government-funded fare scheme and is subject to the terms and duration set by the Scottish Government.

🚌 Meet Ely

Before joining us, Ely worked as an admin assistant and was looking for a change of direction.

Almost a year into life behind the wheel, she talks about what she enjoys about the job, including the independence it gives her and the flexibility and support that help her balance work with family life.

Her 11-year-old son is also a big fan of her career change. He loves buses and thinks seeing his mum behind the wheel is a dream! 💙

This fantastic exhibition exploring the story of the Forth & Clyde Canal at Maryhill is now open at Maryhill Burgh Halls—and it’s right on the route of our Service 17! 🎨🚌

🖼️ New exhibition alert!

Every picture tells a story, but you have to look closely to find it. That's exactly what we did with one painting from 1879, and it turned out to hold far more than we expected.

The exhibition opens this Thursday and has been put together in partnership with Scottish Canals. It traces the story of the Forth & Clyde Canal through Maryhill, from its 18th century engineering right up to the work shaping its future today.

Pop in and see it for yourselves, 13 August to 11 October.
