It’s The Henry James Saddlery Tetworth Horse Trials week! 🙌

We are so looking forward to welcoming you all in just a few days time. The park is looking stunning in the Spring sunshine as the final site preparations are taking place.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of our sponsors for supporting Tetworth and going above and beyond to provide competitors with so many unique and special prizes.

All sections will have podium prize givings with our fabulous media boards as backdrop. Huge thanks to Deanne Ward Photography for all her help with these, and to Vital Sign Design Ltd who have very kindly supplied all of our event signage.

Did you know that over the last ten years, 19,528 road incidents involving horses have been recorded with The British Horse Society ?

As they celebrate 10yrs of this important campaign there is still a long way to go and lot drivers need to know about how to drive around horses and riders.

📢 Remember that from tomorrow (31 March), you will only be able to make 2 changes to a car driving test booking.

A change counts as:
✅ changing the date or time
✅ changing the test centre
✅ swapping your appointment with another learner who has a test booked

If you need to make more changes after you have used your 2 changes, you will need to cancel your test and book a new one.

We sat quietly for an hour before test making sure that my pupil was emotionally ready to face the challenge !
She aced her test with just one driving fault for a timed signal.
Delighted comes nowhere near how I feel right now ! She is pretty happy too ! Life changing for her …

Our colleagues at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service are running free in-person workshops to help drivers over the age of 65 stay confident behind the wheel.

These two-hour sessions cover:

- How age-related changes can affect driving
- Eyesight and licence renewal
- Simple vehicle checks
- Road signs to be aware of
- Alternatives to driving

There’s no driving assessment involved – just practical advice, discussion, and refreshments!
