⚡ A Supercharged Frogeye 🏁
There are rare Frogeye Sprites… and then there’s 600 FPP.
Built in 1958 and showing just 15,000 genuine miles from new, this remarkable Sprite has an unusually well-documented history. 📖✨
Its first owner, a garage proprietor and rally organiser, had a number of DHMC upgrades fitted in the early 1960s — including the rather special Shorrock supercharger. Add in a 120 mph speedometer, adjustable Armstrong dampers and a rare original Supercharger bonnet badge, and this was certainly no ordinary Frogeye! 🔧💨
What makes it even more special is the level of originality that remains. Much of the car is still as it left the factory, including its original radiator, brake pipes, gearbox and rear axle.
After a sympathetic preservation restoration, 600 FPP went on to win its class at the 2024 Hampton Court Palace Concours and more recently, the 2026 inaugural Wilton House Concours — recognised for its originality rather than over-restoration. 🏆
A little Frogeye with a fascinating history… and a serious turn of speed! ❤️
