We try to avoid working with ‘second hand’ parts, but when its a returning customer looking to up-upgrade a car we have already done…. Well why the hell not!

BMW 850 cabrio from a couple of years ago. We fitted the Match Up10DSP for a fully active system, 2x 10” subwoofers running from a JL HD 1/1200

Customer wanted to swap the small but effective UP10DSP with his other 2 JL HD amps, which in turn needed a stand alone DSP (supplied by us).

Lots of equipment
Not a lot of space
We made it work and it sounded incredible!

We also switched out the focal speakers for some Morel Reference components

Customer “it sounds like my speakers have blown”

Me “will almost certainly be the rubber has perished”
Customer “on a 2005 car, surely not”

As soon as i remove the door card all the bits of rubber fall out confirming my suspicion 🙄

A few moments later… the worn 6” are out and replacement 8” on our own adapters are in.

The car was also in for a head unit replacement… but i forgot to take photos 🤦🏼‍♂️

I’m often asked what the best speakers are, and I reply “the ones that fit”!

That’s why i love the new Helix Compose range. They have a speaker for pretty much every requirement!

These new Ci5 M80 3” speakers are going in an Audi RSQ8 where the factory tweeter used to be. HUGE upgrade in the sound stage with the mids now on the upper dash.
Something that would not have been possible without these cleverly designed little mid ranges.

So happy with how this 2025 Range Rover L460 came out.
The Meridian Signature system isn’t the easiest to integrate into but after approx 160 solder connections!! Everything works perfectly and sounds incredible. 1 very happy customer and 2 very happy installers.
