Another customer... another failed exhaust 🔊

This van came in sounding far louder than it should…
A quick inspection showed the rear back box had completely snapped off.

Not ideal for driving, and definitely not something that would pass an MOT

We replaced the rear exhaust with a new back box, getting everything fitted up properly and bringing the noise level back to where it should be

Exhaust issues like this can lead to:

What should have been a routine set of discs and pads… turned into a proper fight 🔧

This vehicle came in for brake discs and pads, but it quickly became clear this wasn’t going to be straightforward.

Calliper carrier bolts were seized solid
Discs were completely stuck to the hubs

The carrier bolts needed a serious breaker bar to shift, and the discs were so seized they required a 5-tonne hydraulic puller to remove

This is exactly where experience and having the right tools for the job makes all the difference.

Without the proper equipment, jobs like this can easily turn into damaged parts or incomplete repairs.

We got everything freed off correctly, new discs and pads fitted, and the braking system back to how it should be, safe, smooth, and reliable again

This customer’s vehicle came in VERY loud 🔊

This customers rear exhaust box had completely snapped off, leaving the car sounding far from ideal and not roadworthy.

We got it sorted quickly with a new rear exhaust (back box), restoring the proper sound level and getting the customer safely back on the road again

This customers vehicle came in with a major oil leak from the sump ⚠️

On inspection, we found the issue had been caused by a previous repair, several sump bolts had been snapped off in the engine, and instead of fixing it properly, it had been sealed up with excessive sealant in an attempt to stop the leak.

Unfortunately, that’s only ever a temporary fix… and as you can see, it didn’t hold.

A sump leak isn’t something to ignore and can cause
Loss of engine oil
Risk of low oil pressure
Potential engine damage or failure if left

We removed the sump, carefully extracted the snapped bolts, and fully cleaned and prepped the mating surfaces before refitting everything correctly

The result?
âś… Leak fully resolved
âś… Engine properly sealed
âś… Customer protected from much more serious (and expensive) damage down the line

Another customer sorted and ready for MOT âś…

This BMW 1 Series came in with a faulty windscreen washer pump, a small issue, but one that would result in an MOT failure.

On these, the pump is tucked away behind the driver’s side wing, so not the quickest job, but all replaced and working perfectly again

While the car was with us, we also carried out a full inspection to check for any other potential MOT fails or advisories, giving the customer peace of mind before test day.

Another job completed and this customers van is back on the road

This customer’s work van came in for a new auxiliary drive belt and both belt tensioners.

While carrying out the work, we noticed the intercooler was heavily clogged with dirt and debris (see photos).

This is something that often goes unnoticed but can seriously affect how efficiently your engine runs.
We carried out a full clean, restoring proper airflow through the intercooler.

This means cooler intake temperatures, more efficient performance, and better overall engine response.
