Audi A6 | New car protection package
Now the dealer sealer is removed and the car is fully decontaminated it's onto the paint assessment and correction... finding defects and fixing them.
This is a brand new car, it's very common to find factory defects like swirls and scratches with paint nibs to sort. This car was a prime example of this, some deep scratches to the wing tops and along the bottoms of the doors and swirly all over, we found a fair amount of nibs (dirt in the clear) to fixed or de-nib as it's known.....yes we are taking sandpaper to a brand new car!
This car required a 2 stage correction due to the defects and the factory anti scratch clear coat which we think Audi is using now, it responded similar to the Mercedes clear.
This is all prep for the PPF and ceramics
