We’ve managed to escape the workshop for an extended long weekend and also catch up with what have become very good friends of ours. It’s a great reminder of how the Van King community has grown and extended internationally over the years. 🚐🌍

🚐✨ Rob, Rachel and their son Johnny travelled all the way up from Wales this morning for another incredible VW transformation! 🇬🇧🔥

And yet again… another beautiful VW T5.1 short wheelbase shuttle 😍👌

Rob first spotted our setup online 👀 and as soon as he saw the flexibility of the pull-out steel slider 🛠️, combined with our bed system and deluxe mattress 🛏️✨, he knew exactly what his next upgrade was going to be after having the pop-top fitted by West Dubs 🚐⬆️

The result? Absolutely incredible 🙌🔥
This short wheelbase shuttle has been completely transformed into the perfect family adventure van 🏕️🌄

And the best part? Johnny was SO excited 😄👏 he even suggested sleeping in the van tonight! 🌙🚐💤

We absolutely love helping families create memories and adventures together ❤️

Wow, what a drive, Elliott! 😮👏

After placing his order the other day, we were struggling to arrange delivery all the way up to Inverness… so Elliott decided to jump in his van and drive all the way down to our workshop in Lancashire! 🚐💨

His VW T6.1 short wheelbase has already had loads of work carried out by Exploria in Brighouse, all finished to a very high standard 👌 And what can we say… adding the Van King bed system and deluxe mattress has just finished the van off perfectly 🙌🛏️

Now he’s all set to head straight off camping with his mates next week ⛺🔥

Elliott’s got big plans for the van too — lowering it, OZ Rally Raid wheels, and plenty more upgrades 👀 Watch this space because this is going to be one seriously nice van once it’s fully kitted out 🔥
