🏔️🚵‍♂️ MORZINE… WHAT A BLAST! 🔥🤩

Good food 🍻, great company 🙌 and an epic day blasting through the French 🇫🇷 and Swiss 🇨🇭 Alps! Nearly 8,000ft of climbing, incredible views and 8–9 hours on the bikes! 🚵‍♂️💨 Fitness tested to the limit! 🥵💪

👑🚐 This is the Van King life, freedom, adventure and memories along the way! 🌍🔥

🇨🇭✨ Geneva, what a stop! ✨🇨🇭

We arrived in Geneva and, as you can see, had an absolutely spectacular location right by the lakeside 🏕️🚐🌊, looking across towards Geneva on the other side. What a view! 😍🏔️

We jumped on the bus into the city 🚌🇨🇭, found a beautiful restaurant and enjoyed an amazing meal 🍽️🍻 with my lad Shaun. Genuinely one of the best nights ever, with one of the best meals ever ❤️🍺🥂 Great food, a few beers and quality father-and-son time. 👌❤️

Then it was back to the van 🚐💤 and a great night’s sleep on the comfy Van King bed! 👑🛏️

Up early this morning to another stunning view over the lake 🌅🌊. Shaun went for a swim 🏊‍♂️💦 and got some training in 💪🔥, while I had a much more relaxing morning ☕😎.

Now we’re packed up and back on the road 🚐💨, heading towards the mountains! 🏔️🇫🇷

Next stop… MORZINE! 🏔️🚐🍻 Can’t wait! See you there! 👋😎

🚐🇫🇷 Europe road trip starts here!

Just completed just shy of 300 miles and we’re now settled in at Blandred Farm Campsite, Folkestone, only around 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel. What an absolute gem of a find! 👌⛺️

We set off at 7am this morning and had a really relaxing drive down. Traffic was great, with a quick supermarket stop on the way to pick up some supplies. 🛒

Kettle on, brew made ☕️ and now we’ve wandered virtually through the campsite gate to The Blue Silo, a cracking little micropub just minutes away. 🍺🍕 Perfect for a pint and a pizza before an early night.

A great end to the first day, ready for the next part of the journey tomorrow morning! 🚐💨🇪🇺

🚐✨ It was great to see Ben back with his Van King system!

Ben originally had his system fitted a number of years ago and has now returned to have our steel slider fitted to his original VW T5.1 Kombi SWB. 👌🔧

Finished in a lovely metallic grey with matching wide-rim steel wheels 🩶🛞 — always a nice touch and definitely becoming a bit of a classic now! 😍

It just goes to show the durability of these older buses 💪🚐 They really are built to last and just keep going for fun! 🙌

Looking back at this conversion we completed three years ago, it’s great to see the VanKing system still doing exactly what it was designed to do! 👌
