Joe Desira Car Sales I have been a car enthusiast since the age of 3 when I used to be allowed to hold the leadlight for my brother’s garage underneath the arches in London.

My background has always been in Italian Cars, namely Fiats & Alfa Romeos. I did my apprentiship with Norman’s of Westminster in Vauxhall, with was a Citroen and Fiat dealership. Here I specialised with Fiat. This experience has stood me in good stead as I have an in depth knowledge and training in the mechanical side of things, Then I left there and came to Norfolk to work with my brothers, John

, Sam. I started in the workshop and moved to Service Reception after 4 years. I’m known for my ‘chatty’ disposition and couldn’t help but talk to the customers about the new vehicles in the showroom, often persuading them to have a new car rather than get their car serviced! ‘Time to change - And very often they did. My brothers’ noticed my natural salesmanship and promptly moved me into the showroom. This is has been my natural arena ever since. I was at the Diss branch for 2 years and Great Yarmouth for 7 years and finally Bury St Edmunds for the past 14 years. In fact, even in my spare time I take my 1982 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2.0 to rallies with the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (much to my wife’s annoyance!). I have always had ambitions of setting up on my own and when my brother Felix offered me a space next to his own garage The Chequered Flag, Attleborough, I jumped at the chance. Here, I’m offering nearly new and used Fiats & Alfa Romeos, with the backup of all the servicing, MOTs and valeting from next door. I am extremely passionate about cars and the cars I sell. My ethos is to sell good quality cars (new and used) at competitive prices. And, you can be assured of my best attention at all times.
