Essentially if you have worked hard, ignored the doubters and nay sayers then carry on and go for it. F*** em!
So if you aspire to beautiful Scania, Volvo or any other premium brand. (Others are available) just do it. Go for it!
Then when you want some lovely cameras, tracking/telemetry/energy systems installed give us a shout.

What a week!! We made time. We worked hard and made great progress on many fronts. More about that next week. For now it’s the normal Saturday morning service calls. Equipment supplied by someone else but no one to come out and fix it when it goes wrong. Stuff goes wrong. Not sure Ai is ever going to do this type of work. Mental Health and trucking.
Raising awareness and being open and honest about the challenges of working alone under stress.

I’m excited to share that I’ll soon be taking part in a media project that’s very close to my heart 💚

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be spending some time with a camera crew who will be joining me out on the road to film part of my day-to-day life and have an open conversation about mental health within the transport industry 🚚🎥

The footage will form part of a case study that will be shared across a range of platforms, including YouTube, sponsors websites, industry charities, online media outlets and social media channels. The aim is simple: to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and help break down the stigma that can still surround mental health.

Mental health affects all of us in one way or another, and by continuing to have these conversations, we can help create a culture where people feel able to speak up, listen, and support one another. If sharing my experiences helps even one person feel more comfortable talking about how they’re feeling or reaching out for support, then it will have been worthwhile.

A huge thank you to Mental Truckers for putting me forward for this opportunity and believing that my story could help make a difference. I’d also like to thank The Gregory Group for supporting me and allowing me to take part in the project. Their backing means a lot and shows the importance of continuing to promote positive conversations around mental health in our industry.

I’m looking forward to being part of something that has the potential to make a real difference and I can’t wait to share more with you all soon 💚🚚

Victron.
We have now fully committed to being a Victron Energy specialist/dealer/reseller.
Loads of great gear comes from this company and for many years we have been on the fringes of this and watched the company grow and develop. We are now part of that success working with distributors and with support from Victron directly.

Guess what?
Stuff goes wrong! Yup we don’t like it but these things happen when you play with trucks. The difference is we monitor every camera every week, yes hundreds of them! We then let the customer know as they probably don’t. (Too busy doing what they do best, running trucks). We then start when they stop and get it fixed. No fuss. No drama just back working.
