This very special Series One Land Rover is looking for its next custodian after being loved by its current owner for more than 40 years.
For many years, it was a familiar sight outside The Peacock Inn in Chelsworth. In our eyes, it has become something of a Suffolk landmark—and it will undoubtedly be recognised by many people who have travelled through the village or visited the pub.
Its wonderfully weathered appearance reflects decades of genuine use and history. It has not been polished or over-restored into something it was never meant to be. It remains an honest, characterful vintage Land Rover, with every dent, mark and patch of patina contributing to its story.
Beneath that unmistakable exterior, it benefits from a galvanised chassis and replacement bulkhead, helping to preserve the vehicle while retaining the appearance and character that make it so special.
