Kart frames, Motorbike frames, sub frames, suspension parts. We can powder coat most parts as long as they are metal and not to large.

After the winter break Team Wheelcare had a mixed race at Snetterton in the first round of MSVR Trackday Trophy on Saturday.
After a good qualifying session, we started the race in sixth position and second in class. Confidence was high ahead of a 40 minute race including a mandatory pit stop. After a good getaway I had to lift because of a car in front, which meant I had dropped to 7th by turn one.
Managing to get back up to sixth by turn two I set about chasing down 5th place who was already a couple of seconds down the road.
Car was running great until lap 4 when it suddenly lost power to the engine. Stopping on the side of the circuit I managed to restart the car and rejoin the race. Unfortunately a few corners later the car cut out again, so I retired the car from the race.
Very frustrating day especially as I was running towards the front of the field.
We couldn't find the issue at the circuit but after a quick check around the car today we found that the positive battery cable had chafed through and had come into contact with the battery bracket causing a short circuit. Glad we found the issue and now onto the next round on the Silverstone GP circuit next month.
