Terms & Conditions
1. The terms and conditions listed below form a contract between the customer booking the training course and Ford & Lydon whose premises are located at Blackburn road, Oswaldtwistle BB5 4PE. All complaints to be made via email to Martin Ford fordandlydon@gmail .com.
2. All the course fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to training with a £300.00 deposit payable on booking a training course. The fee charged by Ford & Lydon will be stated on the invoice provided. Course fees can be paid by BACS, credit card or debit card.
3. When booking a training course, all courses must be completed within 4 months from time of booking. Extra charges may apply after the 4 month period due to fuel costs.
4. If you wish to cancel your training course, we recommend that you notify us using [email protected]
5. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our customers have the right to cancel a course within 14 days with the relevant refund stated below

7. In the event of a breakdown, Ford and Lydon will provide the tuition at the companies discretion and test not taken at no extra cost to the customer.
8. Ford & Lydon can not be held responsible for a practical test being cancelled by DVSA. Any rebooked courses will be charged at our usual rates. The customer is entitled to apply to DVSA for a refund of the test cancelled. Please refer to www.gov.uk.
9. All customers booking a training course must be in possession of a legal driving licence before Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training begin the course, including correct provisional licences. Ford & Lydon accept no responsibility for customers who have not complied with these requirements and it will lead to loss off fees.
10. Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training reserves the right to terminate the contract with the trainee if we consider the trainee to be a danger to themselves or the general public or if the trainee becomes aggressive, abusive or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
11. Should the trainee miss any days training or hours booked out for any reason other than due to the fault of Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training then no course fees will be refunded as we will have been unable to sell the course elsewhere.
12. Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training will determine when training cannot proceed due to adverse weather or traffic conditions or any other event beyond the reasonable control of the company. Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training can not be responsible for cancellation of parts of the course for such events. Ford & Lydon HGV Driver Training accepts no liability for any losses or expenses suffered by the customer due to cancellation in such circumstances.
13. Car parking is free for customers, but parking is at your own risk. Ford and Lydon HGV Driver Training do not accept liability for theft or damage to your vehicle or contents.
14. Should the trainee not reach the DVSA standards for the practical test during the booked time then Ford and Lydon HGV Driver Training have the right to cancel the course and all course fees forfeited.
15. The trainee must produce a valid driving licence and any pass certificates to both Ford and Lydon HGV Driver Training and DVSA test examiners. Failure to do this will result in the tests being cancelled and all fees paid will be forfeited.
16. Nothing in these terms and conditions are intended to affect your rights regarding the quality of our services. Should you require more information regarding your rights please contact Citizens Advise centre or your Local Trading Standards Agency.
