Burgess Hill BMX Track

Burgess Hill BMX Track The page is to promote the BMX track and to get views and ideas from the local youths and adults on the future of the track.

We are hoping to improve the track and its surroundings for the locals who use it. We would like to get it maintained on a regular basis and are also looking into expanding the track if possible. We want views and ideas from all that use it.

MEETING TO DISCUSS POSSIBILITY OF A BMX CLUB IN BURGESS HILL

Burgess Hill Town Council and Respect Youth club have held events in August at the BMX track for the last three summers. At each it was clear that there was a level of interest in the possibility of setting up a club for young people to use. We would like to invite you to a meeting to come along and discuss how we could all support this and establish if there is enough interest to form a working group. We would be inviting along a representative from Mid Sussex Voluntary Action to provide guidance.

We are looking at an evening meeting to start 6.45pm to be held at Sheddingdean Community Centre on Monday 15 October. We will be publicising this to local youth groups and promoting this at the track so it is open to young people too. But to lead the group we will need a committed team of adult volunteers.

Thank you for your time. If you would like to discuss this at all please do contact Jen on 01444 238207 (9-3 daily) or email [email protected]
