Hi again folks.
It is with deep regret and a very heavy heart 💔, that after very careful thought and consideration I have made the decision to suspend driving lessons with an immediate effect @ Kevin Smith Driver Training until the foreseeable future I'm afraid.
This horrible and evil situation we live in right now has escalated to another level even within the last few days and I MUST respect that. This is a serious situation we live in right now, very serious.😯😢😪
I can no longer continue to give professional lessons safely, ethically, humanely or in any empathetic manner in this awful situation to my fellow human being's and pupil's inside my car with the continued fear of potentially spreading this evil virus on to others.This is a silent, invisible & a lethally indiscriminate virus ! So, my stance is simple, life is precious, life is priceless. If I can help do my bit by NOT doing my job right now and to help save just ONE life then that is the call I am making personally. I love ❤ my job, I really do but this is NOT just about me and my job, it is about the risk involved to others and the massive implications it could have to others.
I would like to think I have built up a highly reputable business @ Kevin Smith Driver Training in the past 16 years+ and anyone who knows me simply knows all about me and what I am all about. I have the highest possible standards and aim to give the highest possible professional service to all clients aswel. I do not want to sacrifice my reputation and I aim to keep my integrity intact at ALL times, it is what I have done all my life. I have good honest values and principles to which I have been brought up with and I will NEVER compromise any of these either.
I respect The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon and her advice she gave wholeheartedly and I applaud her for the speech she made earlier. I have been a law abiding citizen all of my life and this is certainly not about to change plain and simple. I respect my Government's advice and guidelines at this time.
These last few weeks or more have been a testing time to say the least. I applaud each and EVERY one of my pupil's for their attitude & determination towards this recently. The strength and solidarity shown in such adversity has been nothing short of amazing. You have been an inspiration and helped keep me going throughout each and every day. All I wish and pray for are for these good times to return very soon hopefully. I will be here for EVERY one of you and also to prospective new clients when the time is right again.
I hope you all understand and respect my decision in this and I'm sure you all will. These are unprecedented, unchartered and very much evil times we live in right now.
I look forward to seeing you all back in my driving school car soon hopefully where we will all be smiling 😄, being happy 😁, and having a barrel load of laughs 🤣 again in the quest to get you all your precious driving licences.🤞🤞
We WILL beat this, We WILL smash this, We WILL kill this and We WILL ALL rid this evil virus from our lives.
The evil coronavirus will be with us for a short time but SAFE DRIVING WILL LAST A LIFETIME. 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for a Safe, Free, Secure & Ultimately Happy World for EVERY decent fellow human being on this Planet going forward very soon. 🙏🤞🙏
