Big welding job nearing completion on this cute little early mk1 Polo. Rotten in probably one of the worst places possible. Fuel tank removed for replacement unearthed some hidden horrors sadly. "Filler neck" panel between the inner quarter and outer rear quarter totally shot. Leading into the inner sill and arch as well. New closing panel made and once the interiors back in and the new tank you'll never know!

POWDERHAM 2026!!! The first show to have an official Ely's Classics stand. What a weekend! All the effort was so worth it! Always wanted to do something like this. Huge thanks to all who came and helped turn out a great little collection of cars! Bigger and better next year? ... Id say so!

Mk2 Scirocco update! Drivers side welding complete!
