The Dolphin Boatyard Dolphin Boatyard is tucked away at the head of Galmpton Creek, three miles upriver from Dartmouth. There is also a 16 ton trailer hoist operating on a slipway.

Tucked away at the head of Galmpton Creek, Dartside Quay lies some three miles up river from Dartmouth. In a sheltered position and with beautiful views across to Dittisham, it offers extensive facilities along with a chandlery. The 7 acre dry boat storage area has space for a vast amount of boats and is serviced by a 65 ton hoist, one of the largest in the area, which operates from a purpose-buil

t dock. These facilities are complemented by various specialist marine tenants on site who can assist with boat repairs and maintenance. A number of summer mud moorings are available. Dartside Quay's location offers access to spectacular cruising both up the River Dart, with its many secluded anchorages, and along the unspoilt West Coast. The more adventurous can head further afield to the Channel Islands and the North Brittany coast, both of which are within easy reach and perfect for a weekend away.

Authorised dealers and service centres for Mercury Marine, Mercury MerCruiser, Mercury Diesel, Yanmar Diesel, Honda Marine and Tohatsu — we know these engines inside out. From full repowers and performance outboards to mechanical fit-out, servicing and genuine parts supply, if it floats and has an engine, we're on it.
We also retail Whaly Boats, Extreme Trailers and ASPEN Fuel, serving leisure and commercial clients right across the South West.

With nearly 100 years of combined experience the team at Dartside Boatworks, led by Dave Sharp, have a justified reputation for an exceptional level of service, quality and attention to detail in all the work they undertake.
Occupying the biggest unit at Dolphin Boatyard they can accommodate several boats (max LOA 17m) in their own workshops simultaneously, carrying out structural and cosmetic refit and repair work as well as scheduled routine maintenance.
Working closely with the boatyard team and other tenants, including riggers and marine engineers, Dartside Boatworks are an important part of the comprehensive support you can expect from a visit to Dolphin Boatyard.
