Lady went out in her wheels 🙌🏻
As a working Mum I have as much time to ride Lady as I do to keep her mane tidy, she’s a warmblood now identifying as a native but that’s not important.
What is important is this is THE FIRST TIME Lady has loaded first time, travelled without kicking (there may have been one when I parked in the wrong space but I will give her that).
And despite falling off on a warm up jump & Lady trying to run away for a better life she was as good as gold ⭐️.
Don’t take for granted an easy day out with your horse because yesterday was right up there with one of my best times with Lady. I’ve had her 5 years 🤣.
I need to give a shout out to Shai Long at Shai. L Horsemanship who taught Lady to draw to the schooling whip to load. I get very claustrophobic loading and my anxiety was projecting onto Lady to the point she would also panic once on. I really wanted to be able to load Lady without really being in with her 🤣. Shai was BRILLIANT and I can’t thank her enough for giving me the tools to load Lady without anymore dramatics from either of us 🙌🏻❤️
