Congratulations last Thursday go to Guy Chandler for passing first time round with me as his instructor out in Burgess Hill today with a result of 6 driving faults. Norman was the wheels that got Guy to pass but for the next person it will be Nadia. To give context to the name it's referring to a song that was stuck in Guys head. So glad the nerves didn't get the better of you today after a rollercoaster journey and being messed around by other people. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

What a great end to the week and month for the young lady that is Mary Killick. Congratulations today go to Mary for passing fourth time round out in Burgess Hill today with a result of 6 driving faults. Ye olde Yaris was the wheels that got Mary to pass but for the next person it will be Little bean carrier. To give context to the name in Mary's words we are all mere Human 'beans'. So glad the nerves didn't get the better of you today with a different examiner from previous attempts it really seemed like the stars aligned in your favour. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

What a great start to 2026 for Sanna Anderen and my first test of the year. Congratulations today to Sanna for passing second time round out in Burgess Hill today with a result of 5 driving faults. Although Sanna did her test in her own car Barb I think its only fitting that given most of her lessons were in mine to have the naming rights so for the next it will be Ye Olde Yaris. So glad the nerves didn't get the better of you despite having to deal with temperatures as low as -4 degrees. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

Congratulations yesterday go to Tricia (Trish) Offor for passing first time round out in Worthing today with a result of 8 driving faults. Yari was the wheels that got Trish to pass but for the next it will be Ferrari. To give context to the name it's simply a new name that had a similar sound. So glad the nerves didn't get the better of you despite having 3 passengers. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

Congratulations today go to Henry Mcdonald for passing first time round out in Burgess Hill today with a result of 8 driving faults. Star was the wheels that got Henry to pass but for the next it will be Yari. To give context to the name it's simply an abbreviation of the cars model. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

Congratulations today go to Rosie Robertson for passing second time round out in Burgess Hill today with a great result of 5 driving faults. Bob was the wheels that got Rosie to pass but for the next it will be Star. To give context to the name it's reference to Rosies routine of doing 10 star jumps prior to test to shake off nervous energy. Well done on today's result and good luck with your future driving journey wherever it may take you. I shall miss our lessons together.

🚗 The Night Before Your Driving Test 🚗

Please don’t spend the night before your test glued to YouTube, tik tok or any reels on driving tips .

You either have it by now or you don’t but that’s okay.

Watching last-minute “quick tips” will only overload your brain.
You have no time left to practise anything new, and that panic scroll will do nothing but make you doubt everything you already know.

The best thing you can do the night before?
✨ Stick to what you know.
✨ Trust how you’ve been taught.
✨ Drive like you have on your strongest lessons.
✨ stick to the tips your driving instructor has give you.
✨Don’t listen to anyone’s advise nobody knows better than your instructor! No time for confusion .

Don’t suddenly start driving slower or faster.
Don’t start second-guessing every roundabout you’ve mastered a hundred times already.
You’re not learning tonight you’re preparing your mind.

Get your documents ready, get an early night, eat properly, and breathe.

Tomorrow isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about being safe and consistent.

You’ve done the work.
Now let your training do its job.
