Firstly, an apology to Alfie from Bridport - I was sadly on holiday on the day he took his test (in his own car) and having been sent his pass photo, it had slipped my mind to post his pass, sorry Alfie!

But here it is. A very impressive, 1st time pass!

After a few nerves on his first lesson, Alfie quickly got to grips with what was required, paid attention and took on new subjects with enthusiasm. He has developed into a really solid and competent driver.

Great getting to know you Alfie, a real pleasure.

The absolute very biggest well done to Evie from Bridport, who passed her test in Dorchester today with a very impressive two minor driving faults.

But that far from tells Evie's full story. She won't mind me saying that she massively struggled with nerves and we even considered not sitting the test this morning because the nerves were overwhelming for her.

But she fell back on her training and with the help of a very positive and kind examiner, drove beautifully and got a well deserved result. I've never been more proud of one of my students than I am today.

A massive well done to Marlowe Tucker from Bridport who also passed his test today on his first attempt, with just two minor driving faults!

Marlowe is genuinely a very natural driver and passed with remarkably few hours of training, but he also worked very hard and fully earned it.

Well done mate, great job!

Huge congratulations to Poppy Grier from Bridport, who passed on her 1st attempt today, with just 2 minor driving faults!

We had a bit of a rush on with Poppy's deadline, as she leaves for university this weekend, so we managed to cram in some very necessary lessons. But she absolutely responded, as evidenced by an excellent pass, complemented on by her examiner!

Good luck at uni, Poppy!

An excellent first time pass for Chloe Halsey from Bridport, just in time to go back to university! We took a bit of a break between lessons as university got in the way, but Chloe really wanted to get things done before she went back. She did just that, with a really strong pass, just three minor driving faults. All the more impressive because she took her test in Yeovil, a town she is relatively unfamiliar with.

A really solid drive as commented on by her examiner, Jo. Very best of luck with uni, Chloe. Keep in touch.

A huge well done to Joe Norris from Burton Bradstock, passing today with just two driving faults! A genuinely excellent driver in the making, which is just as well because he's off to Australia to rent a car in the near future!

Great getting to know you, Joe. Stay safe and keep in touch!

A big well done to Sherwin from Bridport, who passed his practical test today, on his first attempt!

An excellent achievement, particularly when considering how nervous he was, just before the test!

But it looks like you'll be the designated driver for a while, if your friends have anything to say about it! Safe driving!

Fantastic result for Lewie from Bridport. First time pass with just 3 minor faults.

Lewie passed with remarkably few hours (10 x 2 hour lessons), he definitely has lots of natural ability but it’s also worth remembering that relevant experience really helps. Lewie has been riding his 125cc motorbike for the last year, and his road awareness was evident from his very first lesson.

Well done, mate, pleasure getting to know you.

After a VERY nervous pre-test drive, massive congrats go to Ella from Bridport, who fully bossed her test in Dorchester this morning, picking up just 3 minor driving faults. Compounded by hugely encouraging and positive comments by her examiner as to her excellent levels of judgement!

Well done Ella, top job and well earned! It's been a real pleasure, laughing, chatting but most importantly, working really hard to get to the excellent standard you have.
