BMW 320D in for an engine rebuild. We noticed the top end and timing had been replaced after a timing failure, however it looks like the timing kit that was used was not up to standard. The poor quality guides have broken up, fallen to the sump and have been picked up by the oil pump. The oil pump pickup became blocked and starved the engine of oil causing multiple spun bearings
