What’s one decision today that your future self will thank you for?

Driving gives us hundreds of little decisions to make. But some of the most important decisions happen before we even move the car.

Choosing to try again.
Choosing not to let one mistake define us.
Choosing to trust ourselves a little more than we did yesterday.

Progress isn’t always about driving better.

Sometimes it’s simply about thinking differently.

One question. One conversation.

When something goes wrong, what do you say to yourself next?

A mistake lasts a few seconds.

But the story we tell ourselves afterwards can stay with us for the rest of the lesson.

“I’m rubbish at this.”
“I should be better by now.”
“I’m never going to pass.”

What if, instead, the next thought was:

“What can I learn from that?”

At Premier Driver Training, mistakes aren’t evidence that you’re failing. They’re information. They give us something to explore, understand and learn from.

The aim isn’t to create a driver who never makes mistakes.

It’s to develop someone who can notice, think, adapt and make their next decision.

That’s where independence begins.

DVSA published new guidance on 28 August, updated today:

* A new week of appointments is released at 6am every Monday, including bank holidays, for 24 weeks ahead.
* Today’s release covers the week beginning 8 February 2027.
* Earlier appointments are not specially released on Monday mornings; cancellations and extra examiner capacity can appear at any time.
* Learners searching only for an earlier test gain nothing by joining Monday’s 6am queue.
* Excessive searching or using several devices can trigger temporary restrictions or “Error 15”.
* Once an appointment is selected and the timing warning accepted, the learner has 15 minutes to finish booking.
