The history of Mupo race suspension starts from the Apennines between Bologna and Modena at the beginning of the 90s. It was originally created by a young man, Gian Luca Maselli, who established himself as developer and tester of suspension systems for motorcycles at that time. In that period Maselli also worked as race technician for many top race teams. In 2003 Maselli went into partnership with

Sandro Cassanelli and this was the actual starting point of a close collaboration still going on today and that, over the years, made MUPO grow, helping the company to become one of the leading Italian brands in the racing sector. MUPO race suspension is the result of continuous activity of research and development - carried out with passion and expertise on the race tracks - and equipping riders to compete in many different events.

Todays project. To create effective controllable damping in the WP Apex Pro fork. As standard issue on the GP2R Kramer being trialled in BSB for eligibility to race in 2022 it is essential to have adjustment. As standard there appears to be very little by way of adjustment on control. With out discussing the reasons for such a strategy it would be wrong to criticise. But suffice to say......we have damping control now!
