Im now wondering when the firestorm is going to hit. This engine has been too easy so far removing this big old lump. it has by far up there with one of the easiest engines i have ever removed. The only struggle was actually pulling the big old lump out with the shear size and weight of it. But im not holding my self to this been easy as in this trade it can all go wrong at any given moment. However its out. And half way gone.

So for all you guys that are familiar with seeing this monster sat looking unloved and unwanted outside my workshop. Ive had all the questions possible “what , where , how and even is it even possible. Well the day is finally here and so is the replacement engine for this rs5. Never did i ever expect to be replacing an engine on a 2018 audi rs5 this early in life. Well let the journey begin for all of you interested keep watching for updates and mor pictures and videos to come. Let the fun begin

Another project finished here @ A.C.T
No job too big or small
Our fantastic customer ben had a small accident while out working which completely smashed the front end of the vehicle. He had it recovered to us and immediately started to tear away at the damaged parts and quickly established what work and parts was needed to bring this wonderful vw transporter t5.1 back to life and get ben back working again. Our customer decided to uprgrade the looks of his work van and bought a complete vw transporter t6.1 front and rear conversion kit supplied by (travelin- light) we freshly painted the new bumpers , wings , bonnet , grille , splitter and spoilers and also The wing mirrors. Re aligned the damage to the front end and replaced all the engine components that had bee damaged in the accident. We replaced all the airbags and fully re coded the new air bags and seat belts to safely remove the air bag faults. After finishing the bodywork etc we then carried out a full safety inspection as well as a full service with some suspension parts replaced with brakes for the mot inspection. I think its safe to say that this transporter is now looking fit and ready to work again and if i do say so my self i think it looks better than it did when it left the vw factory. Its been a bit of a journey getting to the end of this small project but we have enjoyed every minute of the build and would love to do more.

After many conversations with the customer of this vw golf gti ed30 i finally pulled the trigger on taking on this huge engine rebuild with the aim of achieving a stage 3 performance upgrade. After many many hours of intense time, labour , money blood sweat and tears she finally runs. After months of over night performance parts and a massive thanks and a big shout out to ( turbo clinic leeds “venom hybrid turbos” )for rebuilding the cars very own turbo and making it into one of their signiture venom 430 ko4 hybrid upgrade turbochargers. The list this customer was wanting was endless , to the point where i thought it will never end. However thanks to his patience and understanding that this is a massive job and that i also have a buisness to run, 5 months later it runs. And i couldn’t be more happier😁. I just wish id of had more time to picture the project from start to finish. Now that my part is now over the customer has another short wait untill june to take the car down to (R tech performance) to have the ecu remapped and calibrated on ther dyno to compensate for all the modifications.
We are hoping with all the modifications and the massive hybrid turbocharger to see somewhere in the regions of 400-430Bhp a huge increase from the vehicles standard 230bhp. When the car returns back to me i will update better pictures of the car and finally the printout of the actual power gains

Here we have a wonderfull example of the vw scirocco 2.0 cr tdi. Unfortunately the customer of this vehicle was unfortunate to buy a vehicle that has not regularly been maintained and has suffered the infamous vein issue on the vehicles turbocharger, due to the age of this vehicle we have had no choice but to purchase a brand new oe turbocharger unit instead of a reconditioned unit. This vehicle was first diagnosed at the local dealer and was quoted in excess of £3000 to repair. We at A.C.T have mannaged to do the same repair for well under half the price the dealers have originally quoted including a service to go with it and with the same level of workmanship (if not better😀) all the gaskets and seals have been replaced as well as the brand new turbocharger.
