This customer came into our workshop, complaining about an abnormal noise from the engine area, which he couldn't figure out. ANOTHER VEHICLE FIXED! This vehicle was bought into the workshop by the customer complaining of a grinding noise when stopping. We Hammerton Autos strive to carry out the bestvl diagnostic as possible. We quickly identified that the front pads have worn to metal and has scored the discs aswel. MAJOR ENGINE SERVICE CARRIED OUT. This vehicle was booked in for its MAJOR engine service. This service included the Timing belt and water pump change, with GENUINE PARTS. ANOTHER VEHICLE DIAGNOSED. This vehicle was booked into the workshop to investigate a coolant leak. Customer complained that the vehicle was not holding water at all. After listening to the customer, we opened the bonnet, to start our investigation. When opening the bonnet, we found that the coolant pipe from the coolant bottle had been previously wrongfully routed, caught on to the auxiliary belt and came right off. Thats why its really important to have a professional and qualified mechanic to look at your vehicles, to prevent any sort of damage. Would you like to book your vehicle for repair or pre-inspection. DANGEROUS DEFECT found on a safety check. This vehicle was booked into the workshop for a safety check, with the customer also saying that the car has been wearing tyres on inner edges. We started doing our safety check, to our surprise we found this DANGEROUS DEFECT. The coil spring had failed on the vehicle, which broke the plastic cup and was resting on the drop link.
