Some days I feel like I literally live and breathe running at the moment 😅 but honestly, I’m just so grateful that I can. From where I started to where I am now, being able to move my body like this, train like this, and take on something this big… I’ll never take it for granted ❤️

Run 2 Week 12 ✔️ Interval training in the bag 🔥

This one was spicy… pushing the pace, pulling it back, then going again. Intervals are never easy but that’s where the progress is made. It’s not about being comfortable, it’s about getting better.

But more than anything, today reminded me how much of this is mental.

Mental resilience is something I’ve had to build over the years. From losing weight, to losing my mum, to now pushing myself through marathon training… it’s all the same muscle.

Keep going when it’s hard.
Keep showing up when you don’t feel like it.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other when everything in you wants to stop.

That strength didn’t come overnight. It’s been built through some of the toughest moments in my life and something my mum always showed me without even realising 🥹❤️

So yeah, my legs felt it today… but my mind is stronger than ever 👊🏼

Week 12 run 1… 5 miles on the plan today and I am definitely feeling that 20 miler from Sunday 😅 so this one is all about easing back in, keeping it nice and steady!
