Couple different jobs this week, a pair of shoes the eyelets weren’t big enough, so replaced them with more suitable eyelets, a pair of running shoes with some new soles a rather lovely lime green units! And a pair of shoes the heels were scruffy and needed stripping down and re covered with new leather covering, and then reheeled

A pair of RedWing boots this week, changing the look and style of the boot, from a rubber sole and heel, to a nice wedge unit, had to put in and stitch a mid sole before securing the Vibram units on, come out really well, boots are lighter and more comfortable

A pair of Crocs repaired this week, new grip on the soles to keep them going, and a lovely pair of ladies shoes needing a bit of building up as worn through and customer wanted red soles to go with the look so used some red mirror soles to keep them going and looking like they are supposed to

Back from holiday all refreshed and ready to go, hoping everyone enjoyed the carnival was a great week!! Today we have some Vibram units on some shoes and some boots swapped from leather soles to a more practical Dainite unit to last better in weather conditions

The coveted trophies of the Bovey Bar Challenge returned and last years winners engraved, who will win this year!? There are one or two spaces left for any last minute entries, forms will be in Lloyd Maunder Butchers, last day to enter is thursday 30th!! All part of the wonderful Bovey Tracey Carnival week!!

With all the crazy repairs I’ve gone for a different one this week, a simple stick on sole and heel on some ladies sandals, adds protection and grip, also some new leather insoles to freshen them up! I’m away next week on hols so I’ll be closed from Saturday until Monday the 3rd, so if you need to collect anything please make sure it’s by the weekend, same as the Bovey Tracey Carnival Bar Challenge team entry forms, don’t worry I’ll have a plan for any late entries, only a few forms left so get your teams in quickly for one of the funniest nights of the year!
