From wrapping life buoys in my bedroom to standing in front of a classroom talking about my career in the automotive industry. Who would've thought?! 🥹

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit Bournemouth and Poole College to share my journey, from starting Miss Wrapz to travelling the world working in Formula 1.

We talked about the industry, the opportunities available, the challenges of running a business and, of course, got stuck into some hands-on demonstrations with vinyl and PPF!

I'll admit, standing in front of a room full of students was a little outside my comfort zone, but by the final session I was absolutely loving it. Seeing the interest, hearing the questions and having students ask for more demonstrations made the whole experience worthwhile.

A massive thank you to Metamark for supporting the day and supplying some fantastic goodies for the students! 💜 It's brilliant to have suppliers getting behind opportunities like this and helping introduce the next generation to our industry.

But we're not finished yet… round 2 is incoming! 👀

Happy looks good on me. 🤍✨

And I think I've finally reached a point in my life where I can say I genuinely mean that.

When I look back at the woman I was five years ago, I don't think she'd believe the life I'm living now.

I went from working a job I hated, feeling stuck and knowing deep down there had to be more to life, to taking a chance on myself and building Miss Wrapz from my bedroom.

Fast forward to now… I've built my own business, got my own workshop, travelled the world, worked in Formula 1, met some incredible people and achieved things I once wouldn't have even dared to dream about.

And now I've got a place to call my own, just me and Lola. 🏡❤️

But what makes me proudest isn't any of those achievements individually. It's knowing how hard I've fought to get here. The long days, the sleepless nights, the mistakes, the tears, the times I've doubted myself and the moments I've had to pick myself back up and carry on.

For so long, I was so focused on building a successful business that I almost forgot I was supposed to be building a life I loved too.

I'm still figuring things out, still learning, still dreaming bigger. But for the first time in a long time, I feel like everything I've worked so hard for is finally coming together.

I've worked bloody hard for this version of me, and I'm going to enjoy being her.

Because it turns out, happy really does look good on me. 🥹🥂✨

I’ve been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2026 UK Small Business Awards!

Miss Wrapz started with me just wanting to build something of my own, and the last few years have taken me places I genuinely never expected — quite literally in some cases 😂✈️🏎️

I’m usually too busy thinking about the next job, the next flight or what I want to achieve next to actually stop and look at what I’ve already built.

There’s still a long way I want to take this business, but I’m pretty fu***ng proud of this one.

She photographs suspiciously well for something that looks like it’s been through several divorces and a minor war 😂💙

And somehow, after all this time, this is also the first proper photo of me and my car together 🥹

She might be rough around the edges, but she’s mine. 💙

I didn’t come away with the result I wanted… but I definitely came away a better wrapper.

What a weekend at the Avery Dennison Automotive Wraps - EMENA Wrap Championship at the The British Motor Show 🇬🇧 🔥

It was a genuine honour to be given the job of bringing Helen Stanley design to life on the car — and doing it in a competition environment made the whole experience even more special.

Competing is a completely different game to wrapping in the workshop. You’re against the clock, every decision matters, and having judging our work meant the smallest details were under scrutiny.

Did I make mistakes? Yep.

Were there things I’d do differently? Absolutely.

But that’s exactly why I wanted to put myself in that position.

Every bit of feedback showed me where I can sharpen my technique, work smarter and improve if I want to compete at a higher level.

One of the best parts of the weekend was getting to meet and compete alongside the other teams from Prestige and CYMK. There was some serious talent on that floor, and it was great getting to know the people behind the work rather than just seeing it online.

A few years ago I was teaching myself how to wrap cars.

This weekend I was competing alongside some seriously talented installers, bringing Helen Stanley’s design to life and having my work judged on a national stage.

That perspective isn’t lost on me.

No trophy this time. Just more experience, more knowledge, some new connections and a slightly longer list of things I want to master 😂

Back to work. We’ve got levelling up to do. 👊🏼

Some of these still make me laugh.

Some of them still surprise me.

After 5 years in the trade, these are genuinely some of the things I've heard as a female vehicle wrapper.

Thankfully, the industry is changing. There are more women picking up the tools, breaking stereotypes and proving that skill has nothing to do with gender.

People see an old BMW.

I see the car that carried a dream.

She got me to my first jobs. Carried my tools. Got me home after some of the hardest days of my life. She was there when Miss Wrapz was just an idea, and she's still here now.

People keep telling me to get rid of her...

I don't think they understand.

Some things are worth more than money. ❤️

A few weeks ago, the team and I were in Berlin working on another project for one of our clients.

I can't show you the work itself, but this photo gives you a small glimpse of what life has looked like behind the scenes lately.

Last month we travelled to Stockholm, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Paris, delivering projects across Europe. It's been long days, early flights, late nights and plenty of miles, but it's all part of building something bigger.

Most of what we do for this client has to stay behind closed doors, and I completely respect that. But I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities, the trust, and the amazing team I get to work alongside.

Looking forward to seeing where the next project takes us.
