When a customer says ‘Since you remapped my car’……
Complaints of excessive exhaust smoke not long after having it remapped, but 5 minutes of diagnostics tell a different story…
With a lack of boost pressure because of a split inlet hose, air:fuel ratios are off. The correct quantity of fuel but not enough air causes a rich mixture, and diesels will produce a lot of soot like that….

Does it always go perfectly every time? Does it hell! If it was that simple everyone would be doing it…. We run risks with every single ECU we remap…
Occasionally things don’t go to plan, but there’s a difference between those who know how to fix it when it goes awry, and those who run away and ghost you because they don’t… That’s the biggest difference between a professional and an amateur. Amateurs will leave you with a problem. Professionals will resolve the problem and leave you with what you paid for… It’s easy to spot the difference. Amateurs are cheap because they can’t compete in the professional world. Professionals aren’t cheap because they know their worth….

In order to cover the entire UK like I used to, I’d need to clone myself a few times as I just can’t keep up with the demand on my own… So instead, I’ve taken on another business, Delta Performance, and now have several dealers around the country who have the same effect as cloning myself.
