Absolutely outstanding service. I called George at 11:50am in a panic after discovering a bulge in my tyre, with a driving test booked for 1:45pm. I explained the situation and within 40 minutes he had sourced the tyre, arrived, fitted it and had me safely back on the road by 12:30pm.
Professional, friendly, efficient and genuinely went above and beyond to help me out at very short notice. The tyre size for my Toyota Aygo X isn’t the easiest to get hold of, but that didn’t stop him finding a solution and getting the job done.
I can’t thank him enough for saving the day and ensuring my pupil could still take their driving test. Highly recommended George and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and again and again 🛞😀

Booking your driving test? Make sure you’re doing it the right way. ✅

Since 12 May, it has been against the law for anyone but the learner driver to book a driving test. Using unofficial apps, bots or automated tools also breaks the terms and conditions of our booking service.

We've already cancelled 450 tests where tests have been booked outside the new rules – and we're continuing to monitor activity closely. 💪

If misuse of the booking system is identified, we can cancel your booking and suspend your ability to manage your test online.

Our priority is to make the system fair for every learner and to stop you being exploited by third parties. The only way to book and manage a test is through GOV.UK. 💻

Changes to driving test booking happening today. ⚠️

From today (9 June), if you move your driving test, you can only move it to one of the 3 nearest test centres to where it's currently booked.

This is the remaining change we committed to make by the end of Spring 2026:

📅 31 March — test changes limited to 2 per booking

🔒 12 May — only learners can book, change or cancel their own test

📍 9 June — test moves limited to 3 nearest centres

Since 12 May, we've suspended 3605 accounts for breaking the rules and reported apps to app stores for removal. We're not stopping there.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Roz and would highly recommend her to anyone preparing for their driving test.

Roz was always patient, calm, and encouraging, which helped me build confidence behind the wheel. Her lessons were well structured, and she was particularly good at preparing me specifically for the driving test. She made sure I was familiar with a wide variety of roads and areas around Borehamwood that could come up during the test, which really helped me feel prepared on the day.

She also gave clear instructions throughout every lesson and provided useful tips and techniques for the areas I found most challenging. Her explanations were easy to understand, and she always took the time to make sure I felt comfortable before moving on.

The car itself was very comfortable and easy to drive, which made learning much more enjoyable. It also had some helpful safety features that made manoeuvres and parking much easier to practise and build confidence with.

Roz is an excellent driving instructor who is professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping her students succeed. Thank you, Roz, for all your help!
