⚠️Warning!⚠️ There are some scarily unsafe campervans out on the road.
Please do your homework and check the basic safety aspects of the van and make sure it’s been built by a reputable company. Some of these Covid converters don’t give a f*ck!
The guy who now owns this van, came to us originally just asking us to fix his pop top bed, it was only whilst in the van I noticed that the rock and roll bed had been ‘secured’ with only wood screws. 🙃 BUT THATS NOT ALL!!…
There was also a diesel heater installed into the cabinet with the exhaust still inside the living area.
So if the missile rock and roll bed flying through the windscreen didn’t get him, a nice bit of carbon monoxide poisoning certainly would have. 💀
The dodgy pop top bed should have been the least of his worries, but luckily we spotted it before any serious harm was caused and we were able to put it right for him.
It’s easy to be blinded by the excitement of owning a campervan that if you don’t know what to look for you could find yourself self in a bit of a pickle! The campervan industry massively under regulated as it in my opinion, so please do your homework before you end up buying a death trap!
