🚨 WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED RECOVERY DRIVER 🚨

Accident Recovery Scotland is growing, and due to new contracts and increased workload, we’re looking for the right person to join our team.

If you’re the type of driver who turns up, cracks on without needing your hand held and takes pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Essential:

✅ Class 1 (C+E) Or Class 2 (Category C) licence (7.5T Category C1 minimum)
✅ Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Previous breakdown & accident recovery experience
✅ Good knowledge of vehicle recovery and loading procedures

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

✔ Is reliable, honest and trustworthy
✔ Has a great attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Can work independently and use their own initiative
✔ Has good banter and fits in with a close-knit team
✔ Provides first-class customer service, even in stressful situations
✔ Treats every customer’s vehicle as if it were their own
✔ Takes pride in keeping our trucks clean, tidy and well looked after
✔ Is willing to work as part of a 24-hour on-call rota

Any additional recovery qualifications or specialist training would be a bonus, but experience and the right attitude are what matter most.

Accident Recovery Scotland has exciting news due to increased workload & securing new contracts, over the next coming months we will be looking for an experienced and reliable recovery driver to join our 24-hour team covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas

We’re not looking for someone who needs babysat or hand-held — we need someone who knows the job can head out & deal with situations properly in a safe-professional manner

This role suits someone who’s reliable, trustworthy, switched on, and takes real pride in their work.

✅ Requirements:

✔ Class 2 (Category C) licence essential (7.5 ton minimum considered)

✔ CPC qualification

✔ Digital tachograph card

✔ Solid experience in breakdown & accident recovery (any extra training is a bonus)

✔ Good knowledge of roadside recovery work (additional mechanical knowledge is a bonus)

✔ Ability to work alone and use initiative

✔ Good communication & customer service skills

✔ Good attitude and banter — must fit into the team

The right person will:

🔧 Look after company vehicles and equipment properly

🧼 Keep trucks clean and presentable

🚗 Treat customers and their vehicles with care and respect at all times

🕒 Be dependable and flexible for on-call work & weekends

💪 Stay calm under pressure and crack on with the job
