*** THE LITTLE LEGENDS ZOOM-QUIZ WENT DOWN A TREAT ***

Determined to keep spirits up, our u9 Little Legends held their very-own Zoom Quiz last night - and by all accounts it was a fantastic evening had by all...

With questions around Fortnite, Disney, Marvel and the like, the night was topped off with the kids telling jokes of their own and the laughter could be heard from Bury!

The quizmaster was our very own Lisa Morley - and the loudest roar came from the parents after one question. Ready for it? Toy Story - one of the characters has his arm ripped off - so Lisa asks ‘Did Andy pull Buzz off?” As appreciated, the kids couldn’t understand why the adults were laughing...

But with the scores added up, RILEY OWENS was announced as the winner - and the proud owner of a £20-worth of V-Bucks supplied by team sponsor Phoenix Tax Services and the coaches Martin and Ste. Well done young man - you’ll be on Mastermind next....

Oliver, Ethan & Logan all came joint-second and they - along with all the other players - will be receiving personalised drinks-bottles for taking part. Great work from all of you - and a massive thanks to Lisa, Martin, Ste and all the parents for making it happen...

The Wanderers will be back - but until then, we’re keeping it fun for the kids!

As we all awoke this morning, that fine white stuff was out in abundance again - and here’s the first Wanderers snowman sent to us!

Ensuring that he wore a face-mask and was socially-distanced from any other snowmen, this is Harvey (u11’s) and Bobby’s (u10’s) creation - and what a fine one it is too!

So if you’re out and about and capture anything Wanderers-related, take a picture and send it to us. Let’s see who can do what our there...

We're setting off from Dolan Park at 9.15am on Saturday - so make sure you grab your brews and come to your front doors to show your support...

*** OUR WALK IN MEMORY OF MARC ***

As you will be aware by now, yesterday was a sad day as we lost our mate Marc Palin - and you will have seen the coverage of a Walk that our Men's Team had decided to do in order to help in whatever way they can...

But with the world in it's current unprecedented situation, we as a Club couldn't simply say 'Come on then Breightmet - let's all get together and walk to Peel Tower' because if we could do that, then we would all still be playing football. The safety and well-being of all is paramount - so even in these tragic times, we have had to seek guidance on this...

And we are pleased to announce that after consultation with Greater Manchester Police, they have agreed that we can do this as long as we keep people safe - so although we know that many of you wanted to join in, we are urging you to read the attached poster and please help us by adhering to the guidance in place...

When this lock-down and social distancing is over, we are already planning loads of events to show how much we loved Marc and how he will never be forgotten - but for now we are pleading with you to adhere to this and we can all get together soon...

So come out to your front doors from 9.15am next Saturday morning and shout and cheer as loud as you want - because we are going to make this a walk to remember...

VOLUNTEERS at an amateur football club have been left "disheartened" after vandals rode across their pitch on off-road motorcycles.
