PEARL WHITE FOCUS ST IN FOR ROUTINE SERVICING 🔧🤍

This stunning pearl white Ford Focus ST joined us at F2KPD for some essential routine maintenance, helping to keep the engine healthy, reliable and performing exactly as it should.

The customer supplied:

✅ Castrol EDGE 0W-40 engine oil
✅ OEM oil filter
✅ New sump plug
✅ OEM spark plugs

Regular servicing is one of the most important things you can do for your vehicle. Fresh engine oil helps protect internal components, reduce wear and maintain correct lubrication, while replacing the oil filter ensures contaminants are removed from the system.

New spark plugs are also especially important on performance vehicles, helping to maintain a strong, consistent ignition spark for smooth running, efficient combustion and reliable performance.

🔥 Cupra Brake Upgrade Complete 🔥

This lovely, tastefully modified Cupra was in with us today for a serious stopping power upgrade.

The standard brake setup has now been removed and replaced with a RacingLine Performance big brake kit, featuring upgraded calipers, grooved discs and braided brake lines. We then bled the system through with RBF660 brake fluid to help handle higher temperatures and give a firmer, more consistent pedal feel.

When a car has more power, better tyres or gets driven hard, the standard brakes can quickly become the weak point. This upgrade gives the Cupra:

✅ Stronger braking performance
✅ Improved pedal feel
✅ Better heat management
✅ Reduced brake fade under hard use
✅ Braided lines for a sharper, more direct response
✅ A huge visual upgrade behind the wheels

The RacingLine kit is designed as a fast-road and occasional track-focused upgrade for VWG-platform cars, using a lightweight monoblock caliper setup with larger grooved discs to help improve consistency and braking confidence.

A proper performance car needs brakes that can keep up — and this Cupra now has exactly that. 😎

The F2KPD M4 is nearly ready to hit the road again, and while we’re finishing off the final touches, we thought it would be rude not to add another performance-focused upgrade 😎

We’ve fitted larger front bumper cooling ducts to help increase airflow directly into the brake cooling kit.

These ducts are an exact 3D printed match to the GT4-style ducts, designed to sit neatly in the front bumper and help channel more air where it matters most.

On a track-focused car like this M4, brake temperature control is massive. More airflow means better cooling, more consistent braking performance, and reduced heat build-up during heavy use.

🔥 THE M4 IS NEARLY BACK… AND IT’S COMING BACK COOLER THAN EVER 🔥
After the OEM charge cooler failed during abuse around Goodwood Motor Circuit, we’ve decided it was time to upgrade the full charge cooling system properly.

This isn’t just a road car — our BMW M4 is a purpose-built track weapon, and when you’re doing hard laps, heat management is everything.

✅ X2 upgraded side coolers
✅ Upgraded front heat exchanger
✅ CSF top mount charge cooler
✅ Full charge cooling system upgrade

The BMW S55 engine is known to suffer badly from heat soak, especially during repeated dyno pulls or hard track use where the engine doesn’t get enough time to cool between laps. CSF states the factory system can struggle to dissipate enough heat during prolonged performance driving, causing intake temperatures to rise and power to drop. Their upgraded charge cooler features a 60% larger core than OEM, dual-pass cooling design, improved airflow through the liquid-to-air core, and is designed to work with an upgraded front heat exchanger to help keep intake temps down and power consistent.

For a car like this M4, that means:

🚗💨 More consistent power on track
🌡️ Lower intake temperatures
🔥 Reduced heat soak
💪 Better reliability under hard use
🏁 More confidence lap after lap

The OEM setup had its limits… Goodwood found them.

🔥 Mk7.5 Volkswagen Golf R – Proper Maintenance For Proper Performance 🔥

This stunning Mk7.5 VW Golf R came into F2KPD for some essential maintenance, including a Haldex service and a fresh set of spark plugs.

On these 4Motion Golf R’s, the Haldex system is a huge part of what makes the car perform the way it does. It helps transfer power to the rear wheels when needed, giving the car that strong grip and traction everyone loves.

But like anything mechanical, it needs looking after.

During a Haldex service, the oil is replaced and the filter/strainer is inspected and cleaned where required. As you can see from the images, contamination and build-up can collect inside the system over time. If left too long, this can cause poor AWD performance, reduced traction, pump issues, or even expensive Haldex failure.

We also renewed the spark plugs while the vehicle was in.
