🚗 BMW M235i N55 Charge Pipe Upgrade 🚗

This BMW 235i came into F2KPD after suffering a very common N55 issue — failure of the original plastic charge pipe where it joins the throttle body.

The factory plastic pipework is a known weak point, especially as these cars get older or start running more boost. Once it cracks or fails, you can be left with boost leaks, poor performance, warning lights and a car that simply isn’t driving as it should.

With the original component failed, now was the perfect time to upgrade rather than replace like-for-like.

We fitted an MTC Motorsport upgraded charge pipe kit,
featuring:
✅ Lightweight alloy pipework
✅ Stronger upgrade over the factory plastic pipe
✅ Beaded ends with upgraded clamps to help prevent hoses blowing off
✅ Direct-fit design
✅ Finished in black for durability and a clean OEM+ look
✅ A much-needed upgrade for N55-powered BMWs

Another PSA vehicle in with the dreaded AdBlue malfunction — and another customer needing to get back on the road fast.

This customer is a tradesman, so downtime means money lost. After carrying out our checks, we gave him the options available and he chose a solution to keep the vehicle usable while we await the required parts to repair the issue properly.

🔥 Something a little different in the workshop… Peugeot RCZ in for upgrades & maintenance! 🔥

This lovely satin grey wrapped Peugeot RCZ came into F2KPD for a mixture of maintenance and modification work — giving it a sharper look, improved handling, and making sure it’s ready for the warmer weather. 😎

The customer supplied us with a set of lowering springs, which we gladly fitted. Not only do these improve the overall stance of the RCZ, but they also help reduce body roll and sharpen up the handling, giving the car a more planted feel on the road.

We also fitted a new intercooler, helping improve intake air temperatures and keeping performance more consistent, especially when the car is being driven harder.

To finish things off, we replaced the air conditioning condenser, then carried out a full vacuum check and regas to make sure the system was sealed, working correctly, and blowing ice cold again. ❄️

✅ New aircon condenser fitted
✅ Vacuum checked & regassed
✅ Ice cold aircon restored
