Make sure you know the new rules before you book a test

Changes to driving test booking happening today. ⚠️

From today (9 June), if you move your driving test, you can only move it to one of the 3 nearest test centres to where it's currently booked.

This is the remaining change we committed to make by the end of Spring 2026:

📅 31 March — test changes limited to 2 per booking

🔒 12 May — only learners can book, change or cancel their own test

📍 9 June — test moves limited to 3 nearest centres

Since 12 May, we've suspended 3605 accounts for breaking the rules and reported apps to app stores for removal. We're not stopping there.

🚨From 9 June, learner drivers will only be able to move their driving test to nearby test centres.

If you book a new test from this date, you will only be able to move your test to:

✅ any of the 3 centres nearest to where your test is booked

✅ the test centre you first booked at on that current booking

If you have an existing booking, the new rule will apply to where your test is booked at on 9 June – not where you first booked.

The rules with swapping driving tests have changed, instructors are no longer allowed to do it for you but you can do it yourself

From 12 May, only you as the learner driver will be able to book and manage your car driving test.

This means your driving instructor won’t be allowed to do this for you.

You’ve come so far, last year just getting in the car made you panic and now you’ve passed🥳

Unfortunately the Adam’s got a bit of a bloody nose. Good learning point for the pupil though, we were approaching a narrow blind bend so the pupil slowed right down to a crawl, unfortunately the car coming the other way wasn’t as observant and came round the corner quickly and drove straight into us😩.
The car still drives fine it’s only cosmetic and will be fixed in the next few weeks
