Let us show you just one of our deliveries this week….

This is 1250 quality part worn tyres being delivered to our Newport branch first thing this morning 💪🏼

We often get asked about our part worn tyres as some people just don’t understand them and some even have a bad perception of them! So let us take this opportunity to explain about our part worn tyres…. 😊

We are proud to import the highest quality part worn tyres from all over Europe, including Germany and Switzerland. In these countries, drivers must change their tyres twice a year with the seasons. So in winter they must have winter tyres on their vehicle and then just a few months later they must change them for summer tyres, even if there is nothing wrong with their other ones or if they have only just had them fitted. In addition, all cars must also have matching tyres on each axle, so if they had Michelin tyres on the front and get a puncture in one of them and the nearest garage has only Continental tyres in their size on the shelf, they would need to change both tyres to ensure they match. Therefore, they end up losing perfectly good tyres quite regularly.

Now, multiply these two situations by all the cars driven and then by the number of all those European countries, and you will get millions of perfectly good part-worn tyres available for purchase every year and that’s where we come in.

We don’t buy them all, but with the quantity we do buy, we get to select the best of the best which we can then pass onto our customers 💪🏼

Now let’s think of British cars… we only ever really take our tyres off our cars when there is a problem with them right? The tread has ran too low, we have had a puncture in an unrepairable place, there is a bulge in one area, and the list goes on. Unfortunately, many garages in the UK still try to salvage some of these bad tyres to resell on as part worn tyres, giving ‘part-worns’ a bad name and reputation. We do not sell these kind of tyres!

We go to extreme lengths to source and select only the best there is, often travelling personally to these European countries ourselves to monitor the level of quality we bring in, in person. We then also double check each tyre once fitted just to make sure nothing has been previously missed for full peace of mind.

With 18 years of experience in Newport, we are extremely proud of the strong customer base and amazing reputation we have built, based on providing quality part-worn and new tyres at affordable prices along with a high level of customer service. We are excited to bring that same commitment, quality and affordability to our new second location in Blackwood.

Where are we located?…
We have taken over the former tyre garage known as Low Cost Tyres, based on New Road, Woodfieldside, Blackwood, NP12 0BT and we couldn’t be happier 🥳

When are we opening?…
We are already open and ready for business 😃💪🏼 However, having only just taken over the premises last week, we are currently in the middle of renovations to make it our own so please do bare with us during the next few weeks whilst we make some improvements and await our new signs etc.
