Just good old servicing, a full service on this A3 which as you can tell was definitely due. In line with the Audi online portal guide, the customer opted to keep fully up to date with all Audis recommendations

Another slightly lengthy diagnosis on this Audi. Booked in with an occasional coil and engine light on the dash. Upon scanning we found a generic code that related to boost pressure range not reached. This was a basic code and could be the result from 10+ faults. Nevertheless we got cracking and working through likely culprits. Eventually this was tracked down to a blocked DPF & EGR. No codes were present for these however as they had been deleted and not dealt with! So we had to do a bit of back tracking like putting the vehicle back to stock, road testing and then a rescan to get the full picture of faults. Once these were all apparent we could deal with them 1 by 1 until there were no more faults

A bit of a nightmare this one and only have the 1 picture unfortunately. Arrived on a Recovery truck, no power, no start, no lights, no comms, nothing. We quickly diagnosed no power or grounds coming from the gateway module, this was removed and inspected. It was full of green corrosion that comes from electrical components being in contract with moisture for too long. Another module was sourced, fitted coded and tested, found to be working perfectly except for the keys. These were then reintroduced and then we were onto the MOT which it passed with no advisories. Happy days 👍

Next one in was this lovely little mk2 TT, quite a few issues on this 1. Firstly the primary issue was a grinding/scraping noise coming from the drivers front, this was traced to a shocking wheel bearing which was replaced. Next was a non functional remote key fob which was reprogrammed. Then both front windows had various issues which we managed to resolve and finally a decent interim service followed by tracking. Good to go, thanks for booking in Sam 😁

Next job was this Fiat 500 X. With customer complaining of overheating and excessive coolant use. No puddles under the vehicle, drives all day on the motorway, blowers hot. No visible leaks. We pull the bumper for a better look and luckily we did because we found a tiny coolant leak between the radiators. That’s right, these have 2 radiators AND they are dealer only AND on back order AND a small fortune each. Oh well, radiators replaced, road tested and the vehicle can be returned.

Got a huge backlog of jobs to upload due to being non stop 6-7days a week. Starting with this BMW X5, booked in by a local garage that had swapped the interior and as a result had persistent SRS/airbag lights on the dash. No problem for us, we hooked up A1 and with main dealer software we performed a full interior update including coding required. All done 👍

A couple of maps done recently, 1 on a nice 123D that had half a dozen boost leaks, another done on a ZF transmission that had no oil in & multiple oil leaks. And a remap on an Audi A3 from a local dealer who had a nightmare trying to code in a new DPF which had reached maximum ash and soot loading levels and refused to acknowledge controller.
