🔥 NEW WEBSITE FEATURE – NEED HELP CHOOSING? 🔥
We know there are now quite a lot of different booking and tuning options on the website, and it can sometimes get confusing knowing exactly which one you need.
We’re continuously improving the website, customer support and help systems to make everything as simple as possible and to help stop customers selecting the wrong option, which can otherwise lead to delays, having to rebook, or disappointment if the service chosen isn’t suitable.
We’ve now added a new “Need help choosing?” assistant to the website 👌
It will guide you through a few simple questions and help point you towards the correct option depending on what you need — whether that’s mobile mapping, file service, postal ECU work, BMW mapping, Stage 1, Stage 2, hybrid/big turbo work, diagnostics, map tweaks or other supported options.
It can also help direct you towards the correct mobile mapper and booking route rather than making you guess which service to choose.

We receive messages through WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, email and other platforms every day, so messages can easily get buried or mixed in with general enquiries.

⚠️ Please check the numbers match your current ECU before buying. We see so many supposedly “plug & play” ECUs fitted to cars with the wrong ECU numbers, then people question why they’ve got a flashing glow plug/coil light, coding issues, fault codes or running problems.

Just because an ECU plugs in and starts the car doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the correct one for it.

If you’re unsure, send us a clear picture of your current ECU label and we can check it for you 👍

We’ve made a few updates to the payment options across the PDpower Remaps website to make checkout cleaner and give customers more choice.

Depending on your device and order, available options may now include:

🚗💻 New File Service Update Now Live!

We’ve made our Custom File Service even easier to use 🙌

When booking a File Service job through the website, you can now upload your original ECU file directly with your booking, saving the hassle of sending files separately by email and trying to keep track of different messages.

Everything can now be managed directly from your PDpower account:

✅ Upload your original ECU file with your booking
✅ Download your tuned file directly from your account
✅ Keep all file-job information together in one place
✅ Message us directly on the job if you have any questions or feedback
✅ Any revisions or updates stay linked to the same job
✅ Mark the job as Everything is working correctly once you’re happy with the file

It means no more digging through emails trying to find original files, tuned files or previous conversations — your booking, files, updates and conversation are all kept together in your account.

Once your file has been sent, you’ll also have a 7-day feedback period to let us know if anything needs checking or adjusting before the job automatically completes.

You can still email files over if needed, but we’d definitely recommend using the new upload system where possible as it makes things much quicker and easier for everyone 🔧🔥

Recent customer wanted to bring another vehicle to us — this time his 325d — for some flames 🔥🤣

As we haven’t properly done much testing and adjustment with these yet, and he was more than happy to have a bit of a death map, we got to work 😅

First we went through the tune, increasing torque and power while keeping the factory safety strategies intact. It had previously been mapped elsewhere and was missing some key maps, so there was definitely room for improvement. Customer was very happy with how much better it drove afterwards 👌

Then it was time for some flame limiter testing… and safe to say he was happy with the results 🤣🔥

They sound and look absolutely mega!

And just in case it wasn’t obvious… flames are NOT safe 😂🔥

🏁 **PDpower Drag is now live in beta!** 😂🔥

Bit of fun we’ve been working on for **My Garage** — nothing too serious and it’s definitely not meant to be some perfect simulator, just something to have a laugh with and race some of the cars we actually deal with.

You can pick from **1.4 / 1.9 / 2.0 PDs plus BMW M47 & M57s**, choose Stock / Stage 1 / Stage 2 setups, race ghosts, chase PBs, climb the leaderboards and use your own Garage car too if you’ve got one saved.

It’s **still in beta and being updated constantly**, so expect plenty more changes, cars, tweaks and fixes as people use it.

😂 **Random website idea… would anyone actually use this?**

Thinking of adding a little **PDpower Drag Racing game** into **My Garage** 🏁

You’d pick one of your saved cars, use your actual setup/power/weight and race other members’ cars in an old-school side-on drag game.

Basically:

* 🚦 Launch on the lights
* ⌨️ Press space / tap to change gear
* 👻 Race other members’ saved “ghost” runs
* 🏆 Leaderboards for quickest 0–60 / ¼ mile
* ✅ Verified PDpower tunes would use confirmed power figures
* 🚗 Your Garage car and modifications would affect how quick it is
* 📸 Could even use a cut-out of your actual car if you upload a decent side-on photo

Nothing too serious, just a funny little feature for the website and another reason to build your car profile up in **My Garage** 😂

Could have things like **PD only leaderboards, BMW diesel, FWD/RWD, stock turbo, hybrid turbo, under 200bhp etc.**

We’ve added another useful update to **My Garage** on the website 👌

If your car has been tuned by PDpower and you later update the setup with things like a **different turbo, injectors, MAP sensor, cam, intake/intercooler, exhaust or other performance mods**, My Garage can now flag that your existing tune **may need checking or revising**.

If you’re unsure, you can contact us straight from your saved vehicle so we can see the car and what’s changed 👍

It’s another reason to get your car added to **My Garage** — keep your mods, tuning history, bookings, support and vehicle details all together in one place.
