Not your average vehicle in with us recently.
This one off G Wagon, an ultra-exclusive, heavily modified, and hand-crafted SUV.

In the workshop for some exhaust work, no messing around with this beast. All brand new genuine Mercedes AMG hardware used after fresh coating being applied. Check out them tips 👀👌.

Safe to say brand new seat covers and plenty of floor matts used before a quick test drive to make sure no issues found.

A pleasure to have been trusted to work on such a exclusive vehicle. Safely returned to our customer to enjoy 👌👍.

VW TRANSPORTER T5
(SHE HULK !)

In with us recently, we have had this stunning T5 transporter, check out the paint work 👀.

Unfortunately for us the vehicle came to us with a intermittent fault (always hard to diagnose).
With numerous other work done at other Garages, the vehicle was recommended to us 👍.

The faults not appearing for around 50 miles, we had some work to do.
We firstly looked over the vehicle and went through basic checks which are often overlooked.
Nothing obvious jumping out at us it was onto the road for some data logging for further investigation.

After finding some unusual data related with the egr system, we had a conversation with our customer about various options to test and try.
Our full EGR solutions package was performed.

Back onto the road for a long test drive and some further live data readings the fault did not reappear and everything looking spot on 👌.

Since the work was carried out, we are pleased to know our customer has done numerous miles and trips with no further faults.

AUDI SQ5

Had the pleasure of working on this very clean Sq5 recently, with some lovely upgrades 👌.

Let's get ready for some more power.

First nice little upgrade was a full set of hubcentric spacers and hardware giving the audi more of a stance 👍.

Next on the list was a Wagner intercooler, offering significant performance upgrade by reducing intake temperatures and improving flow, by a large amount. Check out the size difference on photos 📸.
Having to add some extra brackets to support the unit yet still a perfect fit with no modifications needed to the bumper 💪.

To improve exhaust flow, a full new downpipe (darkside) was fitted after some work needed to remove the original. Not much space in the engine bay with a big v6 in the way.
Taking advantage also of our full DPF and EGR solutions package.

All necessary Ecu software carried out.
A full custom tuning session undertaken on both engine and gearbox to improve the whole package.
Even with the recent sun appearing and higher temperatures, we had some great results.

308Bhp & 478 Ftlbs

Custom tuned:

385 BHP & 590 FTLBS

With the Audi Quattro system (unlike the haldex systems) the vehicle required a 4 wheel drive dyno.

VW T6 TRANSPORTER

In the workshop recently we have had this lovely t6 in for some diagnostics and m.o.t repairs.

A intermittent noise (very noticeable) under various loads, we got to work investigating and found a split in one of the egr pipes.
Luckily with some heat and luck on our side, we managed to remove all bolts holding it in.

New Genuine uprated vw pipe was supplied and fitted. With of course new gaskets.

Broken rear coil spring, to be replaced we got to work removing it. Noticing random bolts used to secure the anti-roll bar. It soon came apparent why when we tried to remove them. After a small fight we got them out and had to either get a full new suspension arm or in this case we drilled and tapped both holes. For a complete secure fit 👌.

New coil spring fitted with a new set of mounting hardware due to one completely missing and the other quite worn out.
While in with us a brand new set of brake pads also fitted ready for a big trip away.

Road test carried out with no issues and back to our customer to enjoy.

NISSAN 370Z NISMO

In the workshop recently we have had this stunning 370Z in for a few upgrades and maintenance 👌

The brakes getting low and our customer wanting to fit more of a performance based set-up.

All the old brake discs and pads removed, both front and rear. A full clean up of all components before fitting these new upgraded discs and pads.

While working on the brake system it was also decided to keep up with the maintenance and perform a full brake fluid flush using Motul Racing fluid.

The 370Z also suffer from premature failure of the CSC (concentric slave cylinder).
Preventative maintenance, we also flushed out the old black- (check out photos 📸) clutch fluid and once again used the Motul Racing fluid through the clutch system also. This benefits massively with increased temperature boiling points.

A quick test drive undertaken to make sure everything was 100% before customer collects 👌👍.

VW MK4 R32

In with us recently we have had this stunning 😍 mk4 r32.

Needing a few little bits to keep it running on the road like it should.

Starting of with a rear wheel bearing replacement, with our customer wanting it 100% it was decided to replace both rear wheel bearings at the same time.
This required us to remove both rear suspension arms and all surrounding components, so we could get the hub in our bearing press, no easy task.

After some adjustments and spacers we soon manged to locate the hub in our press and push the old units out. A clean up before new bearings pressed in.

Both rear bearings back on the vehicle and after having to remove various brake components a full brake flush/bleeding session was performed on both front and rear brakes.

Slightly easier task with some excessive play in the steering rack ends, these both replaced along with track rod end which was nicely seized on for us (nothing a grinder can't get off)

Running some hubcentric spacers, we had these all cleaned up before fitting them and the wheels back on the vehicle.

A quick test drive and a alignment carried out 👍.

VAUXHALL ASTRA VXR

In with us recently we have had this clean example of a 2.0 turbo vxr 👌

Starting with a full service and inspection on the vehicle.
All service parts replaced including, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, cabin filter, air filter.

On the inspection side we found a oil leak coming from the drivers side of the engine, which had covered the auxiliary belt and deteriorated it quite badly.
With the go ahead from our customer, further investigation was carried out.
Finding the front crank seal at fault.

Area fully cleaned off and a new crank seal, crank bolt and auxiliary belt supplied and fitted.

Unknown history on the gearbox a full gearbox service was also carried out using Millers Motorsport gear oil.

Lastly a nice little upgrade with a full vxr mud flap kit fitted all the way round 👌.
