Work has been absolutely manic lately explaining the dry spell for posting!
To start with these are just very few of the many jobs we’ve taken on recently!
2013 Corsa D for a head gasket, timing chain waterpump and thermostat due to waterpump failure which resulted in cooking the engine! The vehicle was also serviced before handing back to the customer who was absolutely chuffed with the work carried out and price.✅
Next up was a fabia for a health check, major service, antiroll bar D bush replacement, new EGR as well as a front end knock diagnosis. The picture supplied with this was the rear calliper bolt we were also challenged with removing after the owner attempted the repair themselves! All work carried and customer on their way within the same day.✅
The next video was a mk6 golf that had lost their clutch peddle, the video being the culprit! Free health check carried out where we quickly realised the car also had a bad coolant leak. Given the go ahead it was inspected and found to be missing bolts from the coolant housing🤯Brand new clutch master cylinder fitted, clutch bled and back to happy motoring!✅
We have had 3 of these clutch master cylinders in across the same chassis platform within the VAG group within the last 2 months! All rectified within a matter of hours!
Next up was an Octavia VRS in for turbo replacement and major service. After given a free health check we noticed the car also required front brakes, 1 front calliper and 2 bottom ball joints. All work carried out and customer sent on their way!✅
Then to finish the post off is yet another Corsa D in due to failing it’s MOT on ‘brakes imbalanced across an axle’. Meaning the braking effect across one axle is uneven. The culprit being a faulty ABS control unit/pump. New recon unit fitted and sent for retest, vehicle passed without any hesitation and yet another customer satisfied with the all round service.✅
I do apologise for the lengthy post but we are just so busy it’s more of a priority keeping the work standards high and ensuring our customers are a priority!
